Liking Highlands at home. Sam Vinson is the real deal and should make a run for Mr. Basketball this year. Luke Muller is a big guy who can fill it up from 3. Highlands gym would typically be rocking for this game..intresting to see what the crowd is like with corona. Will this game be broadcast online?

Great mix tape...especially a fan of the "catch in midair at halfcourt sideline..cross court on the money over the head bounce pass without coming down at 1:35. High school junior..right! Seen enough Outofbounds?

Her stats may have been a bit off this year because she played limited minutes with an ankle injury in the beginning of the year. She had younger players this year that she worked with and made a big part of the team..giving them confidence by getting them shots, unselfishly passing on her scoring opportunities. Maddie can dominate a game without shooting but when game is on the line she will take over. I hope we do get a few more games to witness her brilliance at Rupp..if not I will be a Lady Ducks fan next 4 years. Thanks for the show Maddie!

Great news..will she be playing AAU this year..for who?

Big question is how is Maddie's ankle and does she rest it for first game on Wednesday? If Ryle wins that game they will have TOUGH matchup on Friday with winner of Bullitt or Etown. Her interview seemed to indicate she plans on playing Wednesday...certainly a "big picture" consideration must be made if there us any risk for her to play. I know she and coaching staff will make the call erring on side if caution.

Is that a problem? Don't get it. Also it should not be a violation to dunk in warmups..kids like it..fans like it..and you can dunk in games. Plus..what if refs walk out and kid does not see them and dunks? Technical foul and kid is in trouble with coach. Very stupid rule.

How were they lined up during introduction?

Again, credit to Coach Haitz. Holtzman, Eubank, and Baker have all come of age. That is a 9th grader and 2 8th graders! I was especially impressed with Baker's improved post play. She is going to be tough to handle for 4 more years.

Ryle has really gotten better. They play great defense and look to immediately run. I think coach Haitz needs to be given much credit here. She has a number of young players that have dramatically improved over the year, particularly on defense. Of course Maddie's leadership can not be discounted either but from what I saw last night the Lady Raiders have built a culture of winning that will take them well into the 2020's.

Sorry..that should say credit Wildcats..not an 8th Region guy.

What a crazy game! Thought Grant was going to win by 20 but they missed a bunch of free throws, turned it over, and could not guard Rassman. Credit Braves for cutting 15 point lead to 2 and everyone on here was right about Rassman's heart..hope that kid finds a school where he can keep playing..he would be a benefit to many programs.

I sbould qualify my take. I think Conner or St. Henry could potentially beat Highlands but I don't think either of those teams has the firepower to beat the Colonels. If we do get a Highlands v. CCH game then CCH would be favored but Highlands will challenge them and could win.

Don't know if brackets will be semis or finals but looks like CCH v. Highlands will decide the 9th.
