Wildcats made it interesting. Grant vs OC should be a good game.

What a crazy game! Thought Grant was going to win by 20 but they missed a bunch of free throws, turned it over, and could not guard Rassman. Credit Braves for cutting 15 point lead to 2 and everyone on here was right about Rassman's heart..hope that kid finds a school where he can keep playing..he would be a benefit to many programs.

Sorry..that should say credit Wildcats..not an 8th Region guy.

Fun game....thought Grant was going to take control and pull away after a solid first half, but turnovers, plus key shooting in the second half by the Wildcats erased a 15 point lead and pulled the Cats to within a bucket.

 

I had Grant (unofficially) with 11 second half turnovers....

 

But Grant also shot the ball very well in the second half (except at the line), and they managed to get just enough of those shots late to stave off the Wildcats, and - though they hit less than 60% at the line - Grant also hit enough free throws to preserve the win.

 

I thought Blake Robinson had a great game for Grant.....for Gallatin, Rassman was a beast, but I was also really impressed with the second half play of Zach Johnson.

 

Epperson for Grant was dominant early, disappeared in the third, but came up big for the Braves at the line in the fourth period with the game on the line....

Robinson has a really nice stroke, and he's a streak shooter who can really pile it on from the outside if he gets off to a good start. You have to keep him out of rhythm, but Gallatin was unable to do so tonight.

I talked to his parents tonight and they said he actually watched film and noticed his foot placement after shots was off. He started working on it about 2 weeks ago and his shots are looking good. But you are correct, if he gets going he can hit from everywhere. Very beautiful shot!

Was a hell of a comeback in the 4th quarter, down 15 and came back within 1 before extending with FT's for Grant at the end. Just a bit too late. Congrats to Seniors Jarin Rassman, Gage Ashcraft, Lukas McEntire and Devin McAllister on a great senior campaign.

The Wildcats knocked 12 points off the lead in 1:02 after trailing 61-48 with 3:21 left. For awhile I thought another miracle comeback was in the cards.

8 years ago they trailed Simon Kenton by 17 entering the fourth quarter and still were behind by 12 with 2:30 to play.

A Jordan Morris three at the buzzer gave Gallatin a 56-55 victory.
