Have to agree with you on that. I don’t think we will know one bit until regular season is over and RPI locks. Too many factors to be able to say. For now, enjoy the last two regular season games, get through districts again, and then let’s see how it all plays out!

No, according to beechwood being in 2nd, mayfield would travel to ft. Mitchell.

Beechwood will not play a competitive game until semifinals. Another running clock maybe before half time.

Would be fun to see them in the mix with the other big 3.

I’d say has some to do with population in the school. They have been slowly declining in numbers. Less numbers, less athletes. The biggest thing has to be though, schools moving up or down in class. Mayfield moving up to 2a took some wind out of their sails, then you have Desales who had their run for a while. 1A is Pikeville’s. It’ll be a while before they can put together a team that has the capability, I think to compete with the mountain schools that year in and year out at the top of the rankings. In the next 10 years we will see a state title?

Nothing against the other teams, but I’d say the tigers won’t play a competitive game until week 4 of the playoffs. Lots of running clocks ahead.

Gimme the tigers by 14. They’ll be looking for revenge from last years game. Dixie is an explosive team and will be looking to make another statement for a second year in a row against Beechwood, but I don’t think comes true. Defense is firing on all cylinders, Hatfield is cleared back to play, throwing him back onto the already stout defense in his starting linebacker role. Hergott is the difference maker as he always is. I am curious to see how Greg attacks this defense. Is it through the air, or power football?

Absolutely. The tigers ran two tight ends tonight. First time all season. They adjust formations, plays, personnel, accordingly. You’ll see them open it up even more down the road.

You’ve seen a snippet of the offense. The playbook opens up when it needs to. Don’t worry I’m sure you guys will get almost all of it if the tigers meet them in the playoffs.

Beechwood by 10. Think Colonels hang tough but the Tigers pull this one off late. THIS will be the toughest game of the season. So much plays into this game. Rivalry, emotion, Cam coming back. This will be an intense back and forth.

Another game where the tigers aren’t really tested. Next week I think will be the first time they really see some adversity this season, and I hope it pays off for them!

That defense is taking pride in their work. As they should. When the 2’s and 3’s went in last week they were cheering when they’d get stops and didn’t allow them to score. When they stopped them on the goal line to keep the streak alive they went ballistic. Defense right now is a focal point, and is something all starters, and rotation guys are taking very serious, especially now with how well they’ve been performing. I don’t expect a shutout because SK can score, but I wouldn’t be shocked by it either.

A good amount. Exactly why I will not say we will beat cov cath like we have the rest of the schedule. I do think this is the year that we stand the best chance. But to beat them by a lot? Let’s relax for a second. One game at a time.

As a tiger fan, I won’t say this until it happens. That game is a rivalry. You never know what will happen.

Beechwood defense is the real deal. Game was never close.

Without a doubt. I’m the worst when it comes to picking score and having faith in the tigers. I also expect the worst, pray for the best. The two teams we’ve played thus far have been good the past couple of years, and we’ve dominated them. Is beechwood that good or are the two teams they’ve played on a down year? I will not know how good we truly are until Cov Cath, and Dixie. The two biggest games of the Tigers season in my opinion.
