Beechwood 31 New Cath 0. Half time. Might be getting that running clock that I predicted earlier this week if the tigers keep it up. NCC just looks out matched in every aspect right now. Not to mention Hergott is playing lights out.

Tigers just drove down the field and Hergott delivers a bomb to McCormack in the end zone with 3.4 seconds on the clock before half. In the most respectful way possible, the NCC DB got MOSSED.

If ludlow can stop McClendon, which will be very hard to do, they have a good chance in this game. Ludlow can’t have any turnovers or this one could be a big Holy Cross win. Ludlow’s Newborn will do his thing as he has all year. Kid is a stud and will have to have a good game to match McClendon and Hicks. I’m thinking very close scoring game in a shootout.

I voted yes, but on second thought I think it won’t be enough. SoS hurts New Cath, and I think it’s going to hurt them even worse come Friday. They’ve not seen anything like Beechwood because of this shortened season and the Tigers are just on another level right now. Pikeville has played the best of the best that they can. If they play the Tigers close it will show how good New Cath really is but I don’t see it being close whatsoever.

I understand that completely. I’ve seen Somerset on film, and the tigers in person every week this season. These last two games will give me more hope as for what’s to come this years playoffs. Last year the tigers lost to NewCath by less than a touchdown. If they can soundly beat NCC and then go on to beat Meade county, (who I know nothing about whatsoever) then I will be on the State Finals or bust train. But for right now. Let’s take one week at a time.

I’d have to agree. Beechwood is hitting stride while Somerset is looking a little more beatable every game I see them play.

I’m all for the Tigers, I mean truly. But let’s not jump the gun just yet. LCA and Somerset are two teams that are outstanding, and personally I think both are better than the tigers right now from what I’ve seen on film. Luckily though for the tigers they will have to play one another in the playoffs early. But as of right now Beechwood is the 3rd best team, in my eyes from what I’ve seen.

Offense was clicking on all cylinders in this game. They are getting much better on defense each week as well. These next two games they will look to really fine tune the offense and run defense before their 2020 playoff run.

I said ludlow by 14. Was a little off but glad to see the panthers win this game. It has been a rough season. Now the #2 seed is secured!

Nobody does homecoming better either! I know from experience! Very proud to call Ludlow my alma mater!

His first loss was on a controversial go ahead field goal against the defending 5A state champions, who he outperformed their QB, and second loss to a very good run offense Dixie Heights football team. Like I said, it’s very open this year on who can win the award. I see nobody who is head and shoulders above anyone else for this award. For a 2A school playing the schedule he is playing, he is doing a very good job, against very strong competition. He can’t decide his district, can only compete against it. I also stated earlier if this award isn’t given out until after playoffs I think that gives us a much better idea at who is the most deserving.
