Wow! I didn’t see that coming.

Greenwood was only giving up 69 yards rushing per game 15th in the state. Glasgow rushed for 301 and that’s basically the game. The Scotties jumped out 21-2 and the game really was never close.

Harsh!

Looks like the future may be bright for the Cardinals.

It seemed to me that instead of coming in and building a program from scratch they wanted to be great right away and some of the things they were doing didn’t pass the smell test. So I’m guessing all the players that transferred there just lose the season. That sucks if you’re a senior.

I think Henderson probably wins the game but I’m not convinced of it.

I expect this to be a tight game I think Hart Co. is a better team than what they showed against Glasgow last week the Scotties just jumped on them early and they couldn’t recover. I think this will be a one score game and could go either way.

I think OC’s miserable season continues give me Hancock by 14.

Good write up. I think this will be a competitive game this gives Glasgow another chance to knock off a Class 5A foe and get some points in the old RPI. I think Greenwood is really talented and might even knock off Bowling Green this year. For this game I think whoever has less turnovers and penalties probably wins the game.

I wouldn’t be shocked if they split the two games as there will undoubtedly be two so winning this game wouldn’t be cause for to much celebration because the job won’t be complete.

Can Pikeville keep it from being a running clock is the only drama I think there will be in this game.

I disagree I think Mayfield is normal 2A contender good and I think Beechwood and LCA could contend for the title in 5A. I’m not sure how they built these teams or whatever but the championship will come from one of these two teams and if I had a pick I would probably say Beechwood.

I give Danville credit I wasn’t expecting them to do much this year with all the off-season turmoil but they just keep winning. I still don’t think they are a great team but congratulations they deserve it.

So if you have someone in your district forfeit you can still schedule someone else and keep that forfeit win. I was hoping that would work like that because if not we were fixing to see teams picking up other teams drop way down.

My mistake I usually try to look at the rosters of local teams at the beginning of the season and I was thinking Green had more that that. That’s why you shouldn’t try to go off memory when you’re almost 50.

Metcalfe is absolutely their only competition in the district and should be two really good games. I think Green does have a advantage in just bodies I think Metcalfe only has around 30 players and I think Green is somewhere in the mid 40s. As far as winning the region it would depend on their draw if they were to get any of the big 3 in the region it would probably be tough but if they got a favorable draw and got someone else I think they would have a shot.

I disagree with most I think LCA is top 10 in the state but I think Beechwood is better and I think if they played 10 times Beechwood would win 7 of those. Fortunately for us they play a true playoff system to an extent in Kentucky high school football so eventually we will probably find out who is better, that day anyway.

Shouldn’t be a problem for Green. Monroe is in a stretch of the worst years they ever had.
