This game surprises me. I didn’t think Frankfort was very good and not that I think Eminence is great but they’ve scored a lot of points this year. So I’m surprised they only scored 14.

I hope that ain’t the case if you don’t want to suffer being blowed out then schedule smarter but don’t cancel a game you have agreed to already.

Shhh! Don’t look now but has anyone else noticed that the cancellations over the last two weeks are way down. Why do we think this is because Covid cases are starting to go down or some other reason.

I’m glad you believe that. CAL didn’t run clock them in the first half last year matter of fact it was a game all the way to the end and if Glasgow hadn’t gave up three TDS on just horribly blown coverages they would’ve won last year because other than that CAL couldn’t move the ball. Glasgow virtually has the same team back this year and if you truly believe they will put a first half running clock on the Scotties you are going to be mightily disappointed if they get a chance to play.

Well I seen them against Glasgow and mind you weird stuff happens the first game of the season but they were dominating. And it’s not like Glasgow has struggled this season they beat two really good teams in Russellville and Greenwood and the weaker teams they have played they have blowed out. I also don’t see the Franklin Co win by only 3 points as a bad team I still think Franklin is a really good team. I can absolutely see WC getting to the semi finals and then who knows. So to answer your question I do believe WC is deserving of a #4 ranking in 5A.

I agree but that doesn’t mean they are better with Green and Middlesboro they scheduled to match the type of teams they’ve had recently so it would be hard to tell until the playoffs but like I said that’s just one man’s opinion.

The funny thing about Trinity is if they didn’t schedule the way they do there would never be any chance they could have a losing season. I think this year it’s at least possible I can’t remember the last one I do remember them starting at 0-5 one year but I think they went on to win the state championship that year.

I don’t think Danville is better than Green or Middlesboro but that’s just one man’s opinion.

I think Sayre fans are wanting some respect for their team this is their opportunity to prove they deserve it. But I honestly think Pikeville is the better team and win by at least 14.

I went to Glasgow and played football from little league through high school I loved it then and I still love it today.

I think the real question is will it be a running clock my guess is yes.

Yeah I was surprised that Henderson beat MC by the same score as PT. I’m not really sure what to think about that.

It was rather vanilla play calling by CH I don’t know if they thought they could just line up and run at will but there was just nothing anywhere near creative by the coaches. It seemed like every play was either a run up the middle or a pitch outside. The offense actually did less than you think because one of their two scores was a pick six.

I don’t really know what to think of Crittenden a couple of games I thought they were pretty good and then a couple games I thought this team is not very good.

I agree I think this might be the district championship game in the playoffs I’m not sold that Taylor is Glasgow’s number one competitor in this district. I think it might be Adair. I guess we will find out when those two teams play.

I don’t know because I didn’t see the game but giving up 62 sounds like they at least got manhandled on defense. Bottom line is everyone knew this was coming as NH was way down more than anyone knew and then the Covid cancellations against two good teams kind of staved this off but I think everyone knew Danville wasn’t a great team and if they actually played one they would probably get roughed up.

I think Russellville is a legit threat in Class A. Pikeville is probably better but believe me Russellville has a team.

They think he will be back for the Taylor game at least defensively. That will help a lot as he is really good against the pass and they gave up a couple big pass plays tonight.

I think they had a part in this game getting out of control they come in with the mindset of we’re going to penalize everything and the players become frustrated. I think you have to let some of the talking go because there wasn’t really no cheap shots or scuffling to the very end just talking and the refs just kept throwing flags on both sides.

Great win for the Trojans I didn’t think they had a shot in this game but for the second year in a row they defeat CH by a single point. So what does that mean for this district I thought CH was clearly the best team in it so does Barren actually have a chance in this district.

I’ve never seen a game like this. Between both teams there was 27 penalties for over 250 yards. A referee threw his flag and hit a Adair player in the eye and he had to be taken to the hospital. Glasgow had to kick off from there on 2 and a half yard line on one possession. There was a fight and the refs ended the game with 2:11 remaining. If I were the coaches and either one of these teams were mine they would be doing a lot of running next week.

Tilghman should get right in this game if they don’t then they ain’t going to get right.
