Maybe he’ll join his AAU teammates in Newport. Guessing he can slide right in at QB with little competition.

Agree, very similar teams. Conner definitely a little longer and maybe more athletic but CCH plays a little more physical. Conner can handle the ball and score at all 5 positions. Look forward to the rematch at NKU. The larger floor may actually benefit Conner with with their spacing and passing ability. Should be a good one.

Agreed, if they want to win he needs to be on the block though! Not many teams in the 9th would be able to contain him. Especially if Israel is making the entry pass!

Have they really underachieved? Or were they simply overrated with the lack of a supporting cast? I get the thought “they have two D1 players” but it takes 5. If you gameplan to let EJ get his and try to take away Jeremiah, I think they are beatable by a lot of teams.

Agreed .. HC rebounding in general was abysmal. Not sure why they stayed in the zone. The big guy got boxed out quite a bit by Jones and seems the timing of his jump is way off.

Pius and Campbell Co in 7th. Beechwood won 6th last year, but looks like they have moved kids up all throughout the program due to lack of numbers at certain grades.

Agreed .. just countering his argument about injuries. Injuries should be a lot easier to overcome at the 6A level than the 2A level.

Wasn’t the 2A school starting a freshman qb as well? Not to mention their only lineman with any real size (compared to a 6A line) got hurt in the game.
