Sounds like the Colonels are as good as advertised as a top 3 team in the state. 

Cov Cath appeared to have Evan Ipsaro covering Jacob Meyer during the whole first half, which resulted in a quiet half for Evan on offense. They adjusted at the half and moved Hussey onto Meyer, and Evan did what Evan does.

Aiden Jones had a great second half under the basket.

I was shocked how few rebounds 7'0" Gibson had for Holy Cross.

Agreed .. HC rebounding in general was abysmal. Not sure why they stayed in the zone. The big guy got boxed out quite a bit by Jones and seems the timing of his jump is way off.

Pushed around, and rebounds with one hand far too often.  His dad was losing his mind on the bench to use two hands and squeeze it.

Crazy-packed tonight.  Fun atmosphere.  Last time I remember a crowd like that was Highlands with Ben Guidugli, whatever year that was.  Maybe the Moeller game with Jaxson Hayes, another packed house.  High School hoops as it was meant to be, and kids from 2 to 92 all having a good time.

Ben Guidugli year would have been 2006 and Jaxson Hayes I believe was 2018. I was lucky enough to be at both of them. Crazy atmospheres.

It was a spectacular atmosphere last night for sure.  Nothing better than a packed house, with a fired up crowd at a High School Hoops game…..cherry on top is two of the best players in the state balling out.  
 

I would certainly add a couple of the CCH/Cooper games to that list as well as the CCH/Highlands game at CCH when Vinson was a Junior…..and that was a Saturday afternoon game and it was bedlam.  
 

A hot sweaty packed gym on a cold night is a happy place.
