In all my years I don't think I've ever seen such a wet season. My team played 12 games this season and 9 (!) were played in the rain or on wet fields.

Based on population, one would think that Shelby, Oldham, and Bullitt would also produce very skilled teams if each county merged their high schools, no?

I remember a playoff game my junior year which was played on a terrible field in terms of mud to grass ratio, but I tell you what, that was the most fun game I think I've ever played! As long as it is strictly mud, which is more of an "inconvenience" than legitimate safety issue, and not something like a sinkhole that could hurt somebody, I think the game should continue at PCHS.

Knox looked sloppy on offense against Shelby but defense has shined against both Shelby and Collins. I expect a low scoring game for both teams.

It's now or never- or at least a few years- for SC as the new high school opens next fall. I believe they will win the 11th comfortably, but am eager to see how they match up with other elite teams this year.

As a player many years ago in a program that had fallen on hard times, I can attest to the hard work and dedication that these young men- especially the seniors who went winless as freshmen- put in. The perseverance by these players and coaches to overcome adversity has EARNED them the home playoff game and I wish nothing but the best to GRC in the postseason!!

I am so happy for the turnaround the Cardinals have made since Coach Lucas took the helm! After a winless campaign in 2015 prior to his arrival, the Cardinals picked up a win against Montgomery County in 2016, before improving to 5-6 last season and now this season host a home playoff game as they finish the season 7-3!!! Congratulations to Coach Lucas and the Cardinals!!!!
