  1. Campbell County went undefeated in the 10th Region last year. To be the man you have to beat the man. Camels by 14.
  2. Pendleton County graduated 8 seniors. Belcher is playing a lot of inexperienced players this season. It showed in the Newport scrimmage last Wednesday.
  3. Great point. I agree with you that's all that matters, but I was talking along the lines of LexCath tourney, KOB, etc. that gives their student-athletes more exposure?
  4. How come Campbell doesn't ever play in the big or prestigious events/tournaments?
  5. I'm going to take in Brad Carr's first game back as the Holmes head coach tomorrow @ Gallatin County. Anybody else going to this one??
  6. Something to think about, the 38th District has finally voted to seed for the first time ever. During the 2018/19 season each team will play 1 seeded game versus each opponent. Starting the 2019/20 season each team will play each opponent twice for a total of 6 district seeding games. For what it's worth, Robertson County hosts all 3 seeded games this season + the 38th District Tournament. With their schedule they should win 20+ games and they are in a good position to win the 38th District Tournament. Not to mention with the right regional draw (39th District Runner-Up) they could advance to the 10th Region Semi-Finals.
  7. Newport won 69-66. Harding had 32 points. Allen had 36 points and 17 rebounds.
  8. But didn’t the Jenkins kid from Harrison County play for both Scott County and Harrison County in the same season?? I think it was 2014/15...
  9. I would venture to say that Scott County will be pre-season no. 1 in Kentucky based on Cantrall and Litkenhaus rankings.
  10. I'm lost here....first off is Macke a good player? How many different schools has he been at? Why does he keep transferring?
  11. A wise old coach once told me, "when scheduling you should play 1/3 of your games where you don't know who's going to win (aka coin flip games), 1/3 of your games should be wins and the last 1/3 of your games are difficult to win." Some years, obviously, are harder than others, but I always liked this formula. In my eyes, Bishop Brossart does this every season.
  12. He is on an unofficial visit to Dayton today.
  13. Dilts has done a good job since he was hired in 2013.
  14. Here is a thread started back in October 2005 on class systems....13 years later and we are still hanging on strong for 1 class! Never change the system!!
  15. Does Jason Hinson teach? If so, what does he teach?
  16. Was impressed with the Doty's against Corbin in the Sweet Sixteen. They didn't have great a game @ Rupp but you could tell that they had great hands for big men and they scored it so efficiently. I believe one of them was close to leading the state in field goal percentage.
  17. Who will be on Brian Kirk's staff? Andrew King coming with him from Augusta?
