Nope just being constructive with my criticism, giving fact based opinions. I've never put down a kid, but this what these discussions are for. When you have Paris fans gloating how many offensive weapons, how good there D is, etc... I'm going to come in and look at it from another angle. There are many other threads with teams were people do this also, you should look into it. But I only get told I'm a "hater" and no facts are given back to me on how Paris is going to win this game or why they belong amongst the elites. And like I said in the Bracken/Fairview thread, this district had only one playoff victory in the current alignment. Paris has some nice athletes Maggard is a gamer, Johnson may be the best 2 sport Athlete in 1A. But we're talking a totally different game when it comes to Raceland.

Paris' reserves are offensive weapons, so there is literally no end to scoring when they go in. Raceland has played 4 teams, miles ahead of Paris. Paris has played 10 games, 6 of those teams have a losing record and combined for a total of 14 wins. But in Paris' eyes a 55-21 victory over a dismal 2A Carroll County, is better than Raceland's 3 point loss to 2A Somerset(who lost to Beechwood 7-0). Look at all the teams Paris put points up on, now look at how many other teams also put up points on them. For instance in Carroll County's 7 losses they gave up 45 points a game, Paris put 55. In Paris' highest output they put up 62, Brossart gives up an average of 42 points per game in their losses. Everyone put up points on Harrison Co. Berea. Even regardless if they won or loss, Ludlow gave up 30 points a game on average. So is Paris' offense really potent? Or is it because they're playing really bad teams, and running it up?

Yes, I come from a long line of Paris haters. My great grandfather was said to of coined the phrase "Greyhound Down" . I too, hope one day my children will be Paris haters, like those before me. Go Rams! *Alvin Sims is cool though, and when I was at Morehead St. Chez Marks put it down. Other than that, I'm a hater.

I really don't see this game being close, Scott plays in the worst district in 4A and had a close call with Mason Co.

Raceland would have to play lights out against a team like Paintsville to win. Raceland just has to play like Raceland. Paris will of had two weeks to prepare for them. Raceland who have "struggled on offense" had 35 points in the first half against Brossart, along with a pick six. That should concern Offensive juggernaut Paris.

Yeah, I think Belfry plays more of a smash mouth style of offense. Waggener hasn't seen that style of offense and the physicalness play after play of it. It's old school and they run it to perfection. Boyle on the other hand is physical, but mix it up more in their offense. Wasn't a dig on either team.

Like I said in the previous I dig the cross bracketing, but I have a feeling it'll be a long ride home for Waggener. Waggener hasn't faced a team as physical as Belfry. (I believe Boyle and Belfry are two different types of physical)

Is this a cross bracketing game? If so, I kind of dig it. Gives this game a Regional/Semi Final feel to it.

I think it's the most highly anticipated game of the 2nd Rd. Few others like Doss vs Montgomery, Johnson Central vs Scott, and Danville vs Somerset are intriguing games. Don't know if that makes it the best game but I'll be listening to this one.

Either team have streaming radio stations for this one?

I hope the Injury was in the thick of the game. Nothing worse then losing the QB during meaningless game time.

I mean not sure why he didn't play at Knox Central this year, but he's given the opportunity to play so he should. Usually that's not the case.

Supposedly thunderstorms on Friday, but depends where you're located. None the less, looks like it'll be a soggy Friday night.

Ludlow, Paris, and Williamsburg schedules are all about the same strength. If you took off Beechwood on Ludlow and Berea off of Paris, they'd average around same strength. They're both sort of outliers for both teams. Calpreps SOS Paris -20.1 Ludlow -10.5 Williamsburg -10.7

I'm just saying Raceland has given up 3 more points then Paris has on the year with a battle tested schedule that includes teams like Ashland, Paintsville, and Somerset. Paris has no one to compare someone like Raceland to.

The most antipcated class IMO, should be a dandy of a playoffs. Many quality matchups.
