Complete domination by Paintsville. They got a 1st half running clock and led 41-0 at the half. Nicholas scored some points in the 2nd half on Paintsville's backups.

Nice to put it away early and rest them starters.

Congrats Paintsville.

Nice effort in the 2nd half Nicholas.

Definitely. They might get a little more resistance next week from Bracken County, assuming they put away Fairview tomorrow night. I still expect Paintsville to roll, though.

Why did they play this game tonight and start the game at 630? Congrats to Paintsville.

Paintsville's volleyball team is playing in the state tournament tomorrow at 12:30 in Louisville. Paintsville's coach's daughter plays on the volleyball team. They asked to make the move so he could coach the football game and watch his daughter's game. Nice job by both schools to accommodate.

Two of Paintsville's coaches have daughters on the volleyball team I believe, that is competing in the state tournament Friday night (also the Volleyball coach is one of the asst coaches wife). Just another example of the class act Coach Hop is at Nicholas Co agreeing to play the game on Thursday. He gets it.

In fact, I think school is closed tomorrow for Paintsville because of the volleyball match.

Brilliant plan by Painstville to get an extra day of rest for round 2.

Well said @plantmanky

They can scout too.

Raceland Russell and Ashland all play home playoff games tomorrow night. Would love to watch one of the other games but obviously can't. Wish their was a way they played some of these games on Friday and some Saturday.

Chirico has a daughter on the volleyball team who is a senior, and a good player. Coach Kinner's wife is the head volleyball coach. Paintsville was flawless on both sides of the ball in the first half. 2nd half Paintsville's JV who are mostly freshman, played like they did the 2nd half at Fairview.

How was the Paris vs Nicholas game 13-6?

Awesome!
