Unofficial Stats: Kaydon Custard was 17/28 passing with 253 yards and four touchdowns. He had 10 carries for 72 yards and two more touchdowns. Custard also had a fumble recovery and an 80-yard interception for a touchdown. Tanner Tumey had 5 receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Tumey ran for 50 yards. Stats from @wcynradio. -
The KHSAA By-Laws state that if your transfer you must sit-out a year of varsity athletics. However, students can apply for a waiver for several different reasons. But as By-Law 6 clearly states, if the transfer is motivated even partially for athletic reasons, the waiver will denied. They will end up being eligible, a lot of transfers are initially denied but are appealed.

The heat index measurement is also taken where the players are. So the reading is taken on the turf which is much hotter.

Mason County usually has their “Bulldog Night” night every year and and wear Maysville jerseys. It would be cool to have that game at the Maysville Gym instead of the Fieldhouse. -

Augusta is playing all their games in their 1926 gym. Montgomery County usually plays a game in their old gym “The Barn” during the Gateway Holiday Classic. -

https://linknky.com/sports/2023/08/19/camels-win-overshadowed-by-scott-players-injury/ It appears that Scott and Campbell County plan to play annually for a while. Campbell County had the inaugural “Battle of the Bridge” trophy. I’m not sure it is the best idea after the score of this first game.

The game was called early in the fourth quarter after an injury to Scott’s Jordan Hardy.

New Harrison County Gym
brooksville replied to brooksville's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
KHSAA says 3,200. But Montgomery County’s arena can hold 4,200. The 3,500 is just an estimate right now but I assume the new gym will be at 4,000. -
Harrison County unveiled renderings of their new gymnasium on Tuesday. The gym is expected to seat over 3,500 fans. The gym will accompany the new high school expected to open in the fall of 2026. https://10thregion.com/harrison-county-unveils-design-for-new-gym/

@nkypete I would try NCAA Live Stats. I haven’t used it myself, but I believe it is free to use. You can download it here: https://ncaamanager.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/43000502725-ncaa-livestats-download-links-technical-specifications I found some YouTube videos on how to set it up. Some also use Cybersports. It is $249. https://hooptactics.net/cybersports/cybersports4basketball.php
