  1. As someone who covers the 10th Region, it’s only reasonable to question why the preseason best player in the region has not played the last two games because of a “coaches decision” and has been benched in other games. He was on pace to become the states second all time leading scorer behind Travis Perry before the season started. That’s a pretty big deal!
  2. The biggest question is why hasn’t Blake Reed played the last two games?
  3. Fleming County didn’t look great the last two days at Lexington Catholic.
  4. The All "A" State Tournament will be at the Corbin Arena. There are renovations being done to EKU.
  5. If Coach Wiggins resigned, I think the release would have clearly stated that it was a resignation. Since it does not say resignation and the way it is worded, it leads me to believe he was let go.
  6. Paul Wiggins Jr. is out at Bishop Brossart. Would he be interested?
  7. Teams have made it through the two-week holiday season, playing numerous games in a short amount of time. Here is how the teams stand heading into the new year. 10. I usually go by the Massey Ratings, but that only starts getting accurate at the turn of the New Year.
  11. Augusta nearly put a running clock on Powell County. Montgomery County has all their players back as well and added two transfers that start. I think Montgomery County will definitely get better towards the end of the season, but their schedule is not doing them any favors. There may only be 8-9 wins left for them.

  13. Wish this could be held at the KFC YUM Center. Would probably draw a better crowd than the current games being played there.
  14. Kaydon Custard, Harrison County’s leading scorer with 27 ppg, did not play. He has a broken hand and will be out you til February.
  15. Just saw this one. Thought Kristy Orem would have more class than this. Any backstory?

  17. I knew I’d get some wrong on that list, my apologies. I think a lot of the 16th Region schools opt out because they play in the EKC Tournament.
  18. Schools already play each other once or twice already. Some schools like CovCath or Ashland probably don’t care because they want to go to the actual state tournament.
  19. The All "A" Statewide Tournament will be played at the Corbin Arena this season. EKU is undergoing some renovation. https://stories.eku.edu/places/complete-renovation-announced-alumni-coliseum
