  1. Final from Brooksville. Daulton Tarter with three rushing touchdowns. Pretty surprised by the margin. Did Walton-Verona lose a lot last year or have I been under rating the Polar Bears?
  2. Halftime: Bracken County 14, Walton-Verona 0 https://x.com/tenthregion/status/1705373988124495899?s=46&t=sb5B9v3WSK1pfSe3TvYIlA https://x.com/tenthregion/status/1705378290796822680?s=46&t=sb5B9v3WSK1pfSe3TvYIlA
  3. Massey Ratings predicts Bracken County 24, Walton-Verona 22. However their 2A rankings have Walton-Verona ranked above Bracken County. I'll take WV in this one. I could see Bracken winning though. I don't the Bearcats will enjoy the drive too Brooksville. It's not a fun one.
  4. I don’t mind their game of the week being a game with a Kentucky player or recruit because that’s what they cover. When you have a few people do the rankings who only watch Kentucky recruits, it definitely affects rankings.
  5. KSR ranks teams higher if they have a Kentucky player or potential player.
  6. These days Dale Mueller looks like an extra in a Jimmy Buffett music video. Who wouldn’t want to play for him?
  7. If you listen to the second hour of KSR, they explain how this game started 4 years ago. It was a story on ESPN.
  8. I’m guessing you haven’t seen their games last year or this year. But they are sponsoring this game. If you kept up with their other games, it’s all UK players. Not a criticism, because they are a UK media outlet. https://www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/news/kroger-ksr-hometown-classic-louisville-shawnee-jackson-county-preview/
  9. The KSR people rank teams higher if they have a UK commit/recruit on them. Just look at their “Game of the Week” every week.
  10. It is illegal. It would impossible to have just a “special education school”. Students’ IEPs give specific time spent in the general education classroom. Most students have an IEP for things like ADHD, reading, and math. If the school is just for “special education”, a student would be deprived of their time required by their IEP (and by law to be in their least restrictive environment) to be in a general education setting. Every student is entitled to a “free and appropriate public education”. A special education school would simply not be able to provide the same opportunities to all students The solution would be what JCPS did. They redrew their boundaries to spread out the populations of low socioeconomic students into multiple schools so they aren’t concentrated into just one school As a teacher it is asinine to think a solution is to just send all the students receiving special education services to one school. Special education shouldn’t be separate education. Not even mention the stigma that would be associated with going to the “special ed” school.
  11. Isn’t it amazing that we all use our phones and connect to cell towers every day, but most of us really have no idea how it works? We just use and it works and we don’t ask any questions about why or how.
  12. Hotspot data is usually prioritized over data from phones and other devices as well.
  13. How were you connected to the internet? @GBR
  14. The Hudl camera cut off but the Ft. Thomas broadcast channel didn't. I prefer the Hudl camera with no commentary.
  15. The Hudl camera was only set to record for 3 hours. The game was cut off with 6 minutes left in the game.
  16. Cayden was entering 8th grade and Blake was entering freshmen year when they transferred, so there was no KHSAA transfer waiver. That only applies once you are in high school.
  17. Pendleton is in the bottom ten of the Massey Ratings.
