I've been watching Andrew play since about 8th grade...never appeared to me that he carries the ball and travels a lot. The kid can ball. I don't know much about the Turner kid but if he is as good as Andrew it would be a good idea to sit back and enjoy watching both of them play

I don't know if Jay is underrated...most list him as the 3rd best player in the state....as for the recruitment piece, recruiting encompasses alot of things. Jay is and has always been a phenomenal player.....i've always thought he was one of the best in the state

Dawgs come out in top. Game was played in Bardstown. Pearson with 23 Aaron Scott with 13 Malik Wright had 11 Mickey Pearson becomes the school's all time leading scorer.

Kyle is a major part of LCA; and when he went down you could see they were out of sorts. The zone defense had Scott County a little bit rattled. In any case, I think they both are good teams.

Pearson 22 and 7; Malik Wright 22 and 9; Alex Matthews 13 and 12. Really cold night shooting for the Dawgs, especially Pearson. No disrespect to the Breck Tigers but this could have been even worse. The Dawgs start real district play next week with Central Hardin and North Hardin. I think we might see what this team is really about at that point.

Some interesting scores from last night. The Larue County/North Hardin score was closer than expected. As well as the Central Hardin/Grayson County score. Bowling Green did a number on Etown, the win wasn't as shocking as the score. Lastly Campbelsville tops Taylor County, although TC is still without their PG.

Final. This one was over after 1 quarter as the Dawgs led by 18. Pearson finishes with 30 pts and 7 rebounds. Wright finishes with 16.

Their just not the same team without him. Puts too much pressure on Tre to handle the ball and score. Maze will have them ready later in the season.

My thoughts also...what's the deal with the big fella. He's got to get you more than two points.

My JH Dawgs might take a step back a bit. The suspension of Witherspoon will be significant. We'll soon find out.

He's a sophomore that played JV last year...good young talent but nobody in the region is game planning around Treys little brother...as Trey go, so does TC....They are 5th in the region at best....good early win from Spencer...good luck on the season

Taylor won't come close to winning the region. Again good win for Spencer but Taylor is a one man team as Spencer found out. Nothing more

I don't think Taylor is that good this year, don't mean to take anything from Spencer, but they lost some key pieces

BG High School is full of athletes. In Kentucky you can win alot of games with athletes. Mix that in with a couple of bball players and BG shouldn't drop off that much at all

They both are where they need to be. Both can ball....I'm no UK fan but Cal recruits NBA players
