gold sunrise Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Kyle Rode for LCA went down with an ankle injury with about two minutes left in the 3rd and Scott Co was only leading by 1 point. He did not come back into game. This made the difference in the game IMO. Great game by both teams.
TDC Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 agreed, really good game. Was headed to tight finish before Rode got hurt. 30 point 4th Q for Scott, but they looked out of synch at times for first 3 quarters. LCA zone was effective, may have been part of that.

Are you implying that Lex Cath will beat LCA by 30+?? Just say what you mean haha. I highly doubt the Catholic/LCA game will be a 30 point differential. If I recall Lexington Catholic went to Corbin last year and got a raw deal. The LCA/Corbin game was played in the 13th Region as well. I have no dog in the fight and I really don't care who wins between the two but enough with the cryptic stuff man come on.
True blue (and gold) Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Let's all remember to stay on topic - Scott County over Lexington Christian.
SECRules Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Scott County has a couple nice early wins against top 20 teams! And LCA has been on the opposite side of the coin losing early this season to two top 20 teams. This should build character for both programs going forward!
dognation2 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Kyle is a major part of LCA; and when he went down you could see they were out of sorts. The zone defense had Scott County a little bit rattled. In any case, I think they both are good teams.

Not that I recall. From what I remember, and I was there, a LC player imploded after a foul call and then the LC coach went bonkers and was out at midcourt confronting the ref. Ref had no choice but to hit him with Double T's. Lex Cath losing their cool late in the game cost them the W. All of the technicals were well earned. Without the T's the Knights would have won. Nothing raw occurred.
gchs_uk9 Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 It would appear that once again the 11th Region is going to be very difficult to win.
16thBBall Fan Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 I think Scott County is still the team to beat. Lex. Cath., LCA, and Madison Cent. all 3 pretty equal also maybe Bryan Station then there is a big drop off between these teams listed above and the rest of the 11th region. IMO

IMO I think you can eliminate the "maybe" before Bryan Station, they can be really, really good. Those 5 teams are all capable of winning many of the 16 regions, but I agree with you that Scott County is the team to beat.
Muskie Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Does Kyle have an NKU offer love to see him go there. Def a top 5 junior in the state some see him as top 3.
Muwv Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Lol- it's not rocket science my friend . 39 points speaks for itself. Scott co is probably best team in 11th. Lca been ranked ahead of lex cath so far this year . My point is it's Scott co - lex cath- maybe Madison central in 11th. As usual.
mooremiller31 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 If Catholic beats LCA by 39 points I'll never post on this site again.
