So is Johnson healthy?

FC has played a lot basketball. Complacency, boredom might be setting in with teams that they know they should have no problem beating. Traits of a young team so it's a little bit surprising. I'm not worried about FC though, they will be there in the end.

I don't think it's bad for basketball.....but please don't try to sell it as exciting or fun to watch. The object is to win the game, if that's their philosophy then great....but there is nothing exciting about watching 30-45 seconds of physical, bruising defense in basketball.

I think it's an accumulation of alot of games during the holidays.

Yeah, they don't match up well with JH for whatever reason. I still wouldn't want to play CH in district tourney. Playing them in that gym during tourney time is difficult.

This amount of free throws gives pause to the actual margin of victory. Very hard to get a rhythm with all these free throws.

There is a reoccurring theme when CCH has problems and that is handling of ball pressure. How did CJ play?

Different region refs can even things a bit. The Pulaski crowd is very aware of their advantage....they make officiating very difficult, it will take a strong crew to officiate a Pulaski game.

Zion will get everybody's best shot, the price to youtube fame. 65 is ridiculous but Howard can fill it up. The Caverna and Adair game last year in the regions was really high scoring as well.

Tough region. I got a chance to see Wayne, Somerset, Pulaski and Southwestern down in the Cumberlands. Combine Mercer, West J, and Boyle and that makes a pretty deep region. That one will be tough down the stretch. I will say this though, I was told either the district or region tourney is at Pulaski....Pulaski will be very hard to beat at home.

No injuries, suspensions. Wright will return against Christian County this weekend (ejection). Witherspoon is still ongoing with a possible return of late Jan. I think JH is about where they need to be on this list even though they did beat PT who is ranked higher.

I had the pleasure of seeing Scott County this weekend against Evansville Boss. Scott County is a problem a big problem. That is a well oiled machine, and they have that "thing" about them. I don't know about Moreno's college career and where he is going and all that stuff but as a high school player, he is as best as they come in the state.

I'm thinking Corbin might be a bit high. Unless you are factoring in the Bailey Rice addition. Speaking of Rice, I remember in middle school and early high school rankings his name was everywhere. I totally forgot about the kid. He is a difference maker though

JH played this game without Wright and of course Witherspoon and still had a chance to win that game down to the very end.....Mayfield played great and deserved to win but I don't know if they could win (all things equal) against the better teams in the state.....just my opinion
