While Trinity never suprises me, that's an amazing point differential. Ryle is one of the better teams in NKY and they will have a great season. Trinity's deep rooted program is just too much for most teams!

Wow, looks like CCH didn't skup a beat. Who is the backup QB to Maher?

So the Volleyball Houston girl is staying at HC but the basketball Houston boy who was a leading scorer on the team is moving to Cooper because the family moved? This is very interesting ... I just hope it doesn't end up backfiring on Ty!

I would look at the Bluebird schedule as a good thing. Come playoff time, they should be better prepared to compete with anyone. As we all know, records don't matter in most parts of the state because most teams get a shot at the playoffs. They will also get to show the state if they are better than DH in week 6.

How do the KHSAA rules work? Houston started last year for HC and was one of their top scorers. Can he just move to another school in the same region if his parents happen to live in the school district? If so, I guess the ability to move a player from a private to a public school is a big loophole in the system. Theoretically, could divorced parents start their athlete in a private school and move him to another school his junior year and another school his senior year if the parents live in different school districts without any penalty?

Wow, congrats Zach and family!

This will be a nice test for SK. Hope they get something out now it ...

That's a great program and not a bad city to live in. Congrats Cooper!!!

Those are some big boys! Any good D1 or D2 offers for them to date?

Good for Adam! Of those listed, Belmont probably comes with the best education depending on what program he chooses. What happened in the game between Vision and the Magic this week?

Great list of impressive young men and programs. It's hard to believe that there is only one boy from from Louisville and no one from Lexington. Any potential sleepers in those two towns?

The "Creeks" will continue to dominate metro Louisville and most of the state. Looking forward to seeing more Fern vs Tates match ups.

Highlands and Cooner will be a good region finals. If Rom or Dreves get the start for the birds, who will the cougars lead with?

I am going with Boyd and my second choice is Russell.

He is one big fella. Who are some of the schools talking to him?

Adel is a beast! But it is suprising no other players are in double digits for Homers.

Those EYBL tourneys are completely unfair to un sponsored teams. We beat the Nike team last year and went 3-0 in pool play but they moved Nike (2-1) into the better bracket play and didn't give us any bracket play whatsover.

Squad is playing tough in 10th grade. Miles, Fleek, and Grubbs each put up 13 in win over Matts Mustangs. Fleek put up 20 in a comeback win over Manimals - Squad was down 11 with 5 minutes left.

I think SK and WV matchup well and could easily split wins again this year but they should both advance out of Districts into the Region. My guess is that the big 8th grader in the Ryle system could be a transfer as his dad went to WV and I believe he coached their too - purely a guess! Collins will be solid and I would never count out Oldham. The 8th has some good teams!

Congrats Zach ... if he is interested in going into the military, Army would be a great opportunity. Zach moves so well with the ball!

Congrats to Michael ... I have seen him play a few times and he deserves every bit of attention that he is getting!

Does anyone have a breakdown by Region? Because this is what it really boils down to in order to get a state playoff birth ...

Good for the Crusaders! I like the pitching rotation with Crowe for the setup...

Clyde, I am sincerely sorry. You are obviously more connected and know exactly who is going to start in 2017-2018. More importantly, I would like to apologize to Aiden and the BGP community. This is supposed to be about him and I followed others down this path. Congrats again Aiden! You are going to have a blast playing ball in Memphis ...

Agreed. I will add that it also takes pitching depth to get through the regions and state tourneys. Who has the most depth on the mound in the 9th? Is Cooper deep? I know Highlands is.
