I have seen both play 5-6 games this year. I like SK by8-10. If Green goes off for OC might keep it close. Dynes for SK takes away all inside and let's SK guards pressure out on 3 point line.

I think Owen’s game plan was much better than Woodford. Moore was the best player on the floor last night. Grant and Owen were much the same as in not a deep bench and had little room for mistakes and missed opportunities. Woodford am North athleticism was too much. Don’t think woodford out coached them at all. Turnovers killed Owen and was key factor for game. Just Curious how many woodford kids took extra Covid year?

I enjoyed watching Grant County this year. They have been a pretty good program for the last four years. A 2 year starter would have definitely helped. Fox kid did a lot of the intangibles that get overlooked and handled the ball a lot. Grant will struggle next year and will be very inexperienced. Spencer Breeden for Grant is definitely a top 12 player in the region. He will carry the load for them next year. I also think North drops after this year. They have a huge senior class that has lead the way.

Wrong head coaches did not get into it at all!

The thing at the end you guys are blowing way out of proportion. GC assist was clapping and cheering and WV assistant proceeded to cuss him out going through the line. Some of GC players even gave WV Krohman hugs going through the line mowing it’s his last game. It was as anticipated as one of toughest. First rounds of the 8th. Here’s the bottom line it was an amazing first round game in a packed gym! Very emotional back and forth game. Great offense first half for WV Great Defense for GC the second half. Grant comes out 2nd half with great adjustments and pounded into the paint. Grants big men especially Wills had a huge 2nd half. Walton hit 5 3’s the first half and I believe only one the 2nd half. Both teams I think were very underrated most of the season until late. Congrats to WV they have a lot to look forward next season. GC has potential to make a run at Henry.

Good win for Braves! Another win vs a top 20 team. 24-6 regular season. Hammonds 23&12 Breeden 16. Henry lead all scorers with 24 for Mason. Very balanced scoring last few games for the Braves. Both team plagued with foul trouble early. Good luck to both teams who have very tough first round at districts

Grant County moves to 23-6 best season in a long time. Good tough game Thursday vs Mason county at home.

Great shooting night for the Braves. They had to shoot 60% from floor tonight. Hammonds 23, Breeden 22, Utter 16 for Grant. Dosset with 19 for Gallatin. Don’t think anyone else for wildcats reached double digits.

1-5, 12-16? Maybe he will get some all-state considerations or KABC votes. His season and career stats are as high as anyone out there this year.

Dylan Hammonds pulls down 18 rebounds tonight in a loss vs Walton. He is now the all time leading rebounder at Grant with 1256 boards which puts him around top 20 in the KHSAA record books. The previous mark was set in the 1960’s. He now owns the School scoring (2700+)record and rebounding. I believe he is 2nd in rebounds and 10th in scoring averages this season. Outstanding efforts in both areas.

That’s a joke. Kid will definitely play college ball. Colleges tend to want phenomenal high school players, some even want the great ones, some will also take the really good ones.

Grant by double digits. Hammonds and Wills with big games. Grants defense should be the difference in this game. Grant is not a slow team either. I don’t think either team shows much.

Yes there are lots of D3, small school and places for kids like Krohman can play and possibly NAIA. You can’t teach height, if Dynes can put on weight in college it will be a difference on how good he can be.

Might be the best win in Jacob Cheeseman’s career. Sayre is solid with some good wins under their belt. Congrats to C. Fagan!

Hammonds and Breeden of Grant with 18 each to lead all scorers. Hammonds with 10 Boards. Roberts lead North with I believe 16. Grant up 26-35 at half. One possession game with about 1 minute in game and Grant missed a shots then fouled and that was the ball game. Don’t the the lead was ever more than 6 the whole game. We will really see what Grant is made of with tired legs as they play Great Crossing at 4:30pm tomorrow. They will be battle tested for sure.

I think Dynes deserves a lot more credit than he gets from most. He definitely alters shots!

Great atmosphere as always in a packed gym. Williamstown was sucking air early 3rd quarter and you can see them start to fsll apart and Grant took advantage of it. Wills, Breeden and Hammonds very solid all round performances.
