Somerset 82 Pulaski County 80 OT

Featured Replies

Final from Pulaski County. Indred Whitaker scored 39 points to lead the Briar Jumpers to the upset.  Somerset was down by 11 heading into the fourth quarter.

Good win for the Jumpers! Definitely a team to look out for

Somerset's Ben Godby lost is father recently, BOTH student sections wore his number to support him tonight.

This kind of thing gives you hope for our future that heated rivals can come together over something more important than sports.

Amazing….love this from students.  More than just basketball…well done students

Jumpers have battled injuries (lost their only SR tonight to a knee injury) after already losing their PG before All A and a tragic death.  They had a week to practice, and I know they would be well prepared and fought their tails off tonight.  Jumper Nation deserved that one!

Wow. Great win for the Jumpers on the road at Pulaski County. Very impressive win.

Somerset was one of my Dark horse teams. Coach Young has them gearing up for District run.

Jumpers did most of their damage last night with 2 JRs and 3 FR on floor.  Figure is bright.

I've said it here before, but Somerset has done a great job in recent years of upgrading their athletic programs in basketball (girls and boys) and has kept positive momentum going with football.

This is a great win for them.
