WOW... Put a 7 footer on Knott Central... Or will they let Cordia finish the rest of this year? What a weird situation. -

Not sure why we see the hate for this. The all a hasn't ruined the sweet 16. Why would this? -

That guy calls a bunch of second region games. He sometimes works with a guy who has an awful comb over. -
Good stuff stepscalled. This week is another illustration of why heights has an advantage. A. I heard they practiced today while literally no other schools in the region were able to. County and hoptown aren’t allowed to practice if school is out. And B. Heights will be back in school tomorrow so they get to get back into their routine. I bet we don’t go back to school this week so that will leave us and others with no practice for an entire week. That kills a kid like trice who needs practice and games to get back into a rhythm and to get in shape.

Kevin Wallace. Wow. I'm not sure how the Catholic System works in Louisville. No doubt that Trinity has had the more talented rosters by far.

No, why? How many fatalities have those breeds caused? What difference does it make?

This thread has been thoroughly entertaining. I'm not sure what the actual debate is? My neighborhood association doesn't allow pitbulls. I knew that when I moved there. Frankly, I liked the idea of pitbulls not being allowed... If a town decides they want to ban new pitbulls (they would have to grandfather) then I would think that is fine. That's what democracy is all about. "Should" these things happen? I don't know. But I don't get what the actual debate is? To me it's beyond obvious that Pitbulls are more dangerous (but still not very dangerous) than any other dog. So if people what to feel comfortable and create regulations around pitbulls/dogs then I don't see why that's a problem?

As I mentioned above. The nfl is moving to full time officials. College basketball Can and should move to full time refs for the major conferences... NFL Moving to Full-Time Officials | SI.com
-
And that official who makes $200,000 is better than the NCAA Ref. And the power conferences could absolutely afford to pay guys full time and cover their travel.
-
If NCAA officials are so great then why does the nba have full time officials? Why do they put such focus on making it better. It’s universally accepted that college basketball officiating is bad. There is a blueprint to make it better. Why wouldn’t we all want it to be better? And... the nfl is discussing making crew chiefs and/or all nfl officials full time. Why? Because the nfl is the worst officiated of all 4 major pro sports in the United States. It also happens to be the one that doesn’t have full time refs. Anybody who thinks the current NCAA system is working isn’t paying attention or is in denial.
-
Please explain what is wrong. Thanks in advance.
-
It’s simple. In the nba the officials do not have other outside employment. They are employed full time directly by the nba. College officials almost all have other jobs/businesses and are not employed full time by the NCAA/conferences. College officials don’t get The training, scrutiny or accountability that Nba officials get.
-
Absolutely not. While Higgins lost his mind in that game the reaction by some uk fans was awful and embarrassing. Flipping the script. I guess you’re part of the .000001% of basketball fans who think college officiating is good right now. It’s embarassing and awful. The amount of $$ in the college game is crazy. The power conferences should come together and employ full time officials who make it a career just like the nba. They also need to closely emulate how the nba game is called. Keep defending college officiating. It’s funny. (Again, I’m not blaming the officials. It’s the ncaa’s fault for thinking these guys can have two full time jobs and can still be good. )
-
And kids complaining has becoming high school and college official’s rationalization for being so bad at their job. The power conference in college basketball need to come together and create a full time officiating program.
