What are the small college gyms with charibacks? Transy? Centre? Bellermaine?

I have heard that Haworth interviewed monday or tuesday and wanted the job. I wonder if he is who leaked the info to Jung when he didn't get the job. Hopefully our coach can now focus on the team for the rest of the off-season. It's been a bit of a circus this summer.

With the All A Classic being forced to leave Frankfort, where will it be held this year? I've heard Richmond and Owensboro as possibilities. Any other locations being mentioned? Somewhere like Belermaine or transy would make sense?

The RUMOR is that he is considering playing basketball for the new elite prep team that has formed there. Again, it's just a rumor. No idea if true.

Cuba and Brewers in Far WKY winning it were incredibly small schools. Again, no idea on exact enrollment though. Modern day, university Heights is probably the smallest to win it.

Biggest issue I have heard is that Johnson may be considering a transfer to louisville... And after this year, things don't look as bright for us. So, would he have a shot at a job at a state title type job next year? Would one be open?

BG just hired a athletic director last week. A hopkinsville High School graduate... Mark Spader. He's been an assistant football coach at BG for a long time. His first job will be to hire a b-ball coach.

yep. It's interesting. He's "so" good that I don't think where he goes to high school matters. Stability would be the best thing for him. Find the place where he can get the best education and the rest will take care of itself. A really good boarding school that will allow him to be around other very successful kids would be a good spot. Somewhere like McCalley in Chatanooga etc. Good sports, great education, great experience.

Agree. Though he does have Jalen and Shorty coming back this year. Of course there are rumors about Jalen potentially moving to louisville so perhaps that is a factor. But after this year, with all that hoptown loses, the cupbard will be fairly bare. As they tend to do in the 8th district, things are starting to shift away from hoptown.

It is my understanding that something changed with this rule and is part of the reason why he transferred to BG. Time will tell on where he will be next fall. BG was his 3rd school in 3 years...

It's up to the kid. But if he's a pitcher and he wants to play "year round" he's doing nothing but hurting himself. ALLLLLL of the research says that playing multiple sports makes you better at your "main" sport than if you just play that sport.

I've heard Harmon is going back to Nashville and that it was the plan all along as TN doesn't allow 8th graders to play varsity.

The rumors of kids leaving schools are started by the other schools. A. KYKY loves UHA. B. Even if he wanted to leave his mom wouldn't let him. Even as a Hoptown fan, I can say this. A kid like Kyky (uber talented) is better off at uha. He's got nba talent. He needs to be doing everything he can to make sure he makes it to the next level. And as much as I hate to admit it, there are too many examples of kids not getting qualified coming from hoptown and county. Though County's track record is better lately.
