Tough opponent to open the season against to say the least. As far as moral victories go I guess it would depend on if it was a gradual progression to the final margin or a larger margin that was whittled down towards the end of the game. Either way 20 points is pretty sizable spread.

Congrats to Pendleton County on their roaring start to the season. They have some good early season match-ups coming up starting with Friday night.

I know it's a rivalry, but Pendleton returns the majority of their team and have the best player on the floor by a long shot. Bracken has a lot of players filling new roles. I think Pendleton wins this one by 25+.

High scoring game to say the least. Having multiple people with ability to put the ball in this basket is always advantageous for any team, especially come late February early March.

Villa has had some boys who could play the past few seasons. Low scoring, but not a bad result for Bracken it that is still the case as far as Villa is concerned.

I thought Robertson had a chance to be good with what they had returning from last season. I know it's early and only a scrimmage, but with the addition of the 3 transfers who judging from this score are going to be able to contribute, I believe they are now legit contenders for the 38th district and the All A region. I am glad basketball season is upon us and we soon will find out if our thoughts were spot on or way off base. Good luck to both teams this season.

Don't sleep on Robertson County. They return a lot of production from last season among those being Mason Burden and Alex Schalch. Still relatively young but the young guys are talented and have varsity experience. Agree on other teams already mentioned with GRC looking like the team to beat this season.

I think it is safe to say Nicholas County is not a road team. I believe that makes them 0-3 on the road. On the bright side, they are 3-0 at home.

I think Johnson is the top senior in the region and will win POY.

With it being @Bracken and it being a traditional rivalry game, Bracken will come out with more purpose for this game than the last. I think it will be a competitive game, but Bracken will pull away late and get the win.
