Who wins this opening district matchup in district 5? Should be a really good game.

Bracken won last year at Paris. The Greyhounds return the favor this season winning in another close battle.

I'm going with the Greyhounds, should be a good one.

Size of Bracken County will probably try to run it down Paris' throat, Paris will rely off tackle or sweeps & Maggard passing. How is Bracken's kicking game? Park as Punter & Atwood as Kicker give Paris a big boost in Kicking game.

Being our (Brossart's) next two opponents, we will keep our eyes closely peeled on this one.

IF Paris is truly the creme de la creme of District 5, they need to go into Brooksville and come away with a convincing win. IF the Polar Bears are up to the task, then I think the three of us (Brossart/Bracken/Paris) all have a fighting chance for the top seed.

I think it's this either way.

Does anyone know if Maggard, Barber and Johnson will be playing and at full strength for this game?

Maybe a little banged up but it's gut check time. I couldn't imagine any of those kids sitting out.

Look for the Polar Bear Express to keep on moving down the tracks! Bracken will be too big and physical for the Greyhounds to handle. Coach Brausch will have a plan that features a running game led by Tad Fisher who the Greyhounds have no answer for.

I doubt there will be much of a size difference. Haven't seen Bracken this year but I know that is a tough and talented group. Should be a dandy!

Looking at the rosters on Hudl they look similar. It's going to be a good game. That's for sure!

Numbers seem a little off! Tad Fisher will run wild!

I know both Bracken Co. & Paris have talented players, but what kind of kicking games do they have. Somewhat familiar with Park(Punter) and Atwood (Kicker). These two give Paris an edge unless of course Bracken has same. Field position sometimes is the difference plus that "3" and no kickoff returns.

The Polar Bears line will control both sides of the ball all night. 35-14 Polar Bears, Bracken line grinds Paris down in the 2nd half.

Running wild and converting that to points are two different things. I've kept up with Bracken a little, good running team...not as good as Louisville Holy Cross. Second half beat us that night but even then the hounds only gave up 16 points. We have a stingy group. This is not the same team from last year. With that being said Maggard will be the best player on the field. That's why I give the hounds the edge.
