I don’t know a ton about Corbin, but I think BG will rebound strongly and take this one 36-7.

X played well and BG had way too many mistakes. But I always wanna look for the positives in a loss. The O-Line looked much better than I thought they would, which will be a big factor in their next few games, especially SW. Clean up the turnovers and you’ve got a pretty solid team I could see making a run and contending for state.

Parking behind the stadium is usually filled by players and coaches. The remaining spots are usually taken by tailgating parents, unless they’re allowing parking on the practice field.

I’m not sure on the first part, but I can’t see them not renewing on BG’s part. It’s a great early season measuring stick and helps them get ready for district play. With the assistant AD and HC at X both being former BG coaches, I believe they’ll renew it.

I played at Bowling Green from 2014-16. I’ve always loved football, from when I started playing when I was 6. There’s just something about it that holds a magic for me. It taught me so many life lessons and was the most fun I’ve ever had. The bonds with teammates will never be broken and it’s the best sport on earth.

Agreed, I love that stadium when it’s so packed you can’t even find a place to stand on the track.

They have small bleachers on the visitor side, at the top of the hill. Also, the stands rarely ever get to max capacity (Last time I remember being the McCallie or Blackman games, I could be wrong). The BG X game is always crowded, but there’s usually still seats available. You never know though!

The OL and DL has always been bigger, stronger, faster, with the exception of BG’s DL in 2016. Even then X had a college size OL. If BG’s DL can slow the rushing attack down, and the OL can give them enough time to get athletes in space, they will win. The formula against X has always been to abuse their secondary, and BG has the athletes to do this. I also think we could see Vito play some offense in this game, I’m just not sure how much. My prediction is BG 31-24.

I wouldn’t count X out, because Wallace is very good at rebounding teams, like the BG team that lost 45-19 to X then won the state championship. Although, I’d say there’s about a 90% chance it’s Male or T who wins it.

WC only had 96 yards of offense, 42 of which came from one run in the second half. Obviously it was expected that BG would win convincingly, but I didn’t expect them to shutout WC, or hold them under 100 yards.

Although I do think St Frances would blow JC out of the water, as mentioned in a previous comment. You’re right this may be a brand of football they haven’t seen yet, which gives me a sliver of hope.

St Frances got kicked out of the MIAA, which is one of the best conferences in any sport or state, because nobody would play them. They’re scary good. This would be reminiscent of when BG played Warren Central (IN) last year.

Personally never liked midfield logos, but playing at Fern Creek was really cool and their logo just added to the you’re in their place feel. I really liked it.

From watching Vito play, i’d Say there’s been a max of 5 passes thrown to his side of the field through the first 2 games.

I agree, I didn’t watch the whole 4th quarter so I wasn’t sure. You’re right though, Bunton was a game changer imo.

The only stats I wouldn’t think are correct would be Max Payne, but I believe he played in the fourth quarter or something. The rest seem pretty accurate to me, from what I saw on the livestream. I’m just reporting what I saw from the reporter on twitter.
