Conner Cooper looks to be the guy. Once he was in they scored 42 unanswered. Team seemed to get going after that and I’m hoping they can keep what they had in the second half rolling into next week. I still believe Vito should play some offense but they looked much better with Cooper at QB. Bunton also had some huge runs that sparked the offense.

Bowling Green outscored the Mustangs 28-0 in the 2nd half capped off by a 1 yd td run with about a minute remaining.

 

McCracken had several chances to keep it close and had 2 possessions in the 3rd quarter inside the Bowling Green 10 and failed to score on either.

 

Both teams had lots and lots of penalties. Both teams put the ball on the ground several times although the fumbling team recovered most of them.

 

Good adjustments at the half for Bowling Green. I wouldn't consider McCracken's effort to be too bad, they just made a whole bunch of mistakes that turned into points for the Purples.

Cooper looked good. I'm sure there's a legit reason for not playing Vito on offense right now, but he brings yet another dynamic that could put this team on another level.

Really good win for the Purples tonight. It’s encouraging to see. Last score I saw was tied at 14. I was curious as to how it would play out.

I know the score was 14-0 when Cooper came in. He didn’t leave the game after that. That’s the only difference I see. Javy Bunton had a great night.

I agree, I didn’t watch the whole 4th quarter so I wasn’t sure. You’re right though, Bunton was a game changer imo.
