I played there in 2015, it was sold out and the many goal line stands of that game made it so exciting. That crowd seemed crazy loud because of not having a track. It was an outstanding place to play and there’s been many memorable BG v Owensboro games there.

Playing at Rash Stadium in a cold November playoff game. By far the coolest stadium I’ve ever played at, and them not having a track makes it seem so much louder than it would normally be. Such a cool place to play, especially when it’s sold out too.

Correct, although they’ve never actually beaten Trinity. Most of the games have been pretty close.

Personal opinion, but I think anyone in the top 6 at least can realistically win it. Obviously Cov Cath and Douglass are favorites, but I really think that SC, BG, SO, SW all have a chance.

I agree, from what I watched there was a couple plays where the receiver was blatantly pushed down. But regardless the outcome may not have been much different, it still could’ve helped momentum quite a bit so you never know.

Wow, would’ve expected a much larger margin than that.

Time of possession stat? I’m curious.

BG played better than expected for two and a half quarters before finally wearing down. The BG offense was nearly stagnant all night besides a few plays, all of the points were set up by special teams or the defense. I think that as long as the defense continues to play well like they did for most of the game, BG will be in contention for the 5A championship. Obviously the offense needs to continue to improve. At the end of the day, T was bigger, faster, and stronger up front on both sides of the ball.
