  1. Star Senior Josiah Robey from the Undefeated Franklin-Simpson Wildcats is getting some deserved attention from Lexington Herald Leader aka Kentucky.com, as they wrote a great article about him/FS as they prepare to play in a big game vs. South Warren http://http://www.kentucky.com/sports/high-school/prep-football/article115429908.html
  2. For Franklin-Simpson, it is definitely when they host Bowling Green.
  3. I wouldn't say so. FS is playing some great football. Remember FS passed for over 230+ in the air vs SW and we might see that again plus the Josiah Robey/Saul Brady combo has been unstoppable in recent weeks.
  4. FS runs away with it in the fourth 35-21
  5. Time for the FS-SW rematch!!!
  6. Josiah is becoming a beast on the field. Great game to put some of the backups in and let them get some snaps. On to ACS!!
  7. Just a question, how is Lexington Catholic (5-5) is their 2nd best win? However, I will admit, LC did play a rather tough schedule.
  8. Johnson Central lost (yes to a very good Belfry team) and is still #1 while FS completed a tough 10-0 season. Lack of respect in my opinion. It makes more sense to have the 10-0 team #1 then the 9-1 team. Just sayin'
  9. The only time Rville had "control" was on that first drive which resulted in the only score for Rville. FS slowly but surely took over from there as the defense totally overwhelmed RV in the 2nd half. and also Russellville isnt your normal 1A team either.
  10. I'm not sure, but they were giving penalties out like candy. Also it seems to me that they were more focused on what the FS players were doing (which wasn't much of anything) rather then the Rville players. One Rville actually kicked one of our players and got no penalty and FS did.
  11. Franklin-Simpson 10-0 Best Wins: South Warren, greenwood, and Russellville Loses: None Highlights: The 2 big catches by Hunter Janes to win against Greenwood and South Warren OP: Josiah Tobey is a do it all RB and WR. He reminds me of UKs Boom Williams in terms of speed. DP: Cade Harvey keeps getting tackles STP: Maddie Alexander has kept her cool and has been really consistent in the field goal game. Also send is the only girl to score in FSHS history One word: Undefeated
  12. Wasn't the best Refed game I've seen, but the Cats got the job done in the 4th. Depth helps tons in Games like this
  13. Wow. As a Franklin-Simpson Fan thank you belfry lol. Sounds like a great game from the comments. Too bad I was watching refs who couldn't even spot the ball half the time
  14. Congrats to the Cougars!!!
  15. Franklin-Simpson has Maddie Alexander at kicker. She is pretty accurate, however I don't have stats
  16. It will also help that Franklin-Simpson always brings a large amount of fans to any game. I see it being close at halftime, but the Cats will over power the Panthers 42-24
  17. 45-21. Close in the first half, but FS will pull away in the 2nd
  18. I know that Franklin-Simpson usually makes a midfield logo during playoff time, but not during the regular season.
  19. Franklin-Simpson gets a good tune up game before Russellville. FS wins 42-7
  20. Definitely, FS usually brings a big group of fans no matter where they play. I hope I can make it to that game.
  21. I kinda wish that Franklin-Simpson and Bowling Green still played.....
  22. Coach Preston has the wildcats focused and prepared. They get past the patriots with ease taking over in the 2nd half 49-17
  23. After FS got past that huge game with South Warren, is 10-0 in the cards for the Wildcats? Warren Central is winless at 0-6, Allen County-Scottsville is 3-3, Warren East is 2-4, and their rival Russellville is 6-0. I know ACS and Rville are tough teams, especially the latter. So can FS finish the season strong and head into the playoffs with a 0 in the L column? and if so how far can the Cats make it in the playoffs?
