South Warren 28 Hopkinsville 24

Featured Replies

From the updates, sounded like a game worthy of its billing. Kudos to South Warren, who stepped up and made the plays. Sounded like Hayes was the difference maker, especially with that crucial pick six towards the end of the first half, and then got the game sealing INT.

If you going to take a shot at the Champs you best not miss.

Resilient win by the Spartans

Congrats South Warren! Brandon Smith refuses to lose to Hoptown as a player and coach.

Time for the FS-SW rematch!!!

the unforgotten hero was Trice Jackson what agame he did not give up one reception he was a,shut down corner amazing game

Congrats to South! Huge Win! Good luck going forward. CJ Hayes is really a terrific player.

For Hoptown, great season and very good team, but IMO will not get past the 2nd round of the playoffs unless you upgrade your schedule. Home or on the road, mid September being the last time for any adversity does not help you beat a quality squad like South.

You do have to remember that next year South will not be in that region. I'd be surprised if Hoptown isn't in the finals next year.

After mid September is district play.

DFire, this is true and I forgot about that, but I still think they need to improve schedule in order to advance as deep as the potential of their talent suggests.

Except for Marshall County Week 10 you are correct. I suppose I was lumping West Creek, TN, Ft Campbell and 2A Murray in the uninspiring or beneficial teams on the Tigers schedule.

Not true.
They may have completed a pass or two to his side it was not many .Ford got beat a couple of times but he had a difficult assighnment when we didn't get pressure but Trice done an excellent job.All in all secondary played much improved. And next week's passing attack is not even close to Hoptowns

It was good enough to best you early in the year and I would bet both teams are better now than then. See ya Friday!

I think that south will open up with Hoptown next year. Tigers also will play mayfield and I think Paducah. Looks some better
