Biggest game on schedule

Featured Replies

Let's hear the biggest game on each team's schedule this year

I really think it depends on the year in regions. Cooper/CCH is big this year.

I look at big game different than rivalries.

That would be the game that could end your season come district, regional, or state time. But that game wouldn't be on your schedule so I guess my answer doesn't count.

Correct, but I would think VC is looking for regular season. I'd like to hear that.

Just looking at the Williamstown schedule, I'd say their opening night game at CovCath is above and beyond their biggest.

Owsley County's biggest games of the regular season are always vs Lee County. Same district and only high school's in each county. Plus the schools are only 11 miles apart. I don't know about recent years but when I was AD that game was our top gate of the season.

Pulaski County opens the season in Louisville against Trinity.

That looks like it could be an interesting game.

For Russell I would say Greenup County/Ashland. Both are high intensity Rival games.

As a fan a few games I will be attending are Dec. 9 and Jan. 19 these two are Dunbar and Lex. Catholic and Feb. 16 Dunbar and Scott Co. and Jan. 13 Wayne Co. @ Mercer Co.

Is it a big game or a big name? What are the expectations going into it?

For Franklin-Simpson, it is definitely when they host Bowling Green.

If hostile fan bases are your thing, Williamstown at Gallatin County on December 1 will be a good one.

GRC's rival and district games with MoCo are always big games.

Looking at the schedule I would also say our trip to Northern KY to play a top ranked team in the 10th region in Pendleton Co on Fri Dec 9th. Then the next night we take on #1 team in the 10th in Campbell Co. Will be a very challenging road trip for the Cards.
