I don't have stats but it seemed like it carried through the entire game. Not just Bracken Co., it's an Achilles' heel for a lot of teams and you know it's something they practice. Bracken did rebound well tonight.

Sounds like all you have to do is threaten a lawsuit. There are so many transfers, both boys and girls, and KHSAA seems to be very one sided in their prosecutions. There have been local players switching and no change of address at all, and they drive from another county. And the lawsuit was threatened so after ruling the player ineligible, he walks out on the floor on October 15th and plays with his new team all season. KHSAA did nothing. Either enforce it or forget it, what a joke.

Coach John Kirkpatrick 2016 KABC 3rd Region Coach of the year while coaching at Whitesville Trinity outside of Owensboro. St. Patrick is very pleased to have hired such talent both in the basketball program and in the classroom in his teaching position. Welcome Coach Kirkpatrick!

I don't think the parents ever considered anywhere except Beechwood. The indecision and furious discussion was only on here since it's a slow time of year for basketball. IMHO. Not that I know much about AAU and summer play. Just watched the back and forth discussion.

I have no idea of who will get this job, but after selection process is over, he will need to hit the ground running because it's so late in the year. The wonderful young men, who will give 110%, will work hard to accomplish the incoming coach's vision for St. Patrick Basketball.

That was some heroic pitching under very adverse conditions. Good job by trainer to keep him in the game. Anyone defensively behind him feels compelled to give that extra effort to match his commitment. There's some iron in the backbone of this Camel team. Sounds like a team with a mission they intend to win. Go Camels ! Happy I've got KHSAA TV to watch next weekend. :thumb:

I think the coaching program the last few years was not welcoming everyone who wanted to play or maybe personalities clashed. I was surprised when they did not have a J.V. or Freshman team. Beechwood had some very good teams in years past and the program does have some potential athletes who decided they didn't want to play for the past few years. I think if this coach talks to some of these girls and lets them know they will be included, he can get them back into the program. You keep haranguing about "these 4 players" , this will become a different program but it will need to be built from the Middle School up to the Varsity program. And in the meantime they can celebrate small victories and regain the respect they used to get.

See I don't always give you a thumbs down. Title 9 should be addressed if there is that much difference in quality of the field.
