Old player Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Mason was with out Lofton in this one as well correct ??
Woodstock Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 A combined 48 fouls and 61 free throws shot in Bracken County's loss to the Royals. And that intentional foul was just wow.
Sportsaholic Mamaw Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Mason was with out Lofton in this one as well correct ?? Correct.
Oldercoach Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Free throws has been Bracken's achilles heel for several years. Crawford-less Polar Bears were 34 of 61(55%) from the line going into the Fieldhouse. Makes for a pretty clear 4th qtr strategy by 10th Region opponents. Don't know if this happened tonight, but if it can be cured, Hinson will do it.
polarbear98 Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Hats off to Mason Co. they made shots when they needed them and my Poar Bears didn't. Had every opportunity to get back in it but couldn't convert from the charity stripe. Shot a poor percentage from the feild as well. Game was indeed a foul fest with several player from both teams playing with 4 fouls. 2 Royals fouled out Stewart and Perkins. Not gonna comment on the intentional foul call. It's a judgement call that will go your way one night and against ya the next. Was a big swing in points to Masons favor. But that's life on the road. Just gotta get ready for Brossart Friday night.

Not just Bracken Co., it's an Achilles' heel for a lot of teams and you know it's something they practice. Bracken did rebound well tonight.
