Because for that game and their afternoon, that school and their small America town had athletes who could smile. It's been a hard month for them all. Some times it isn't just about winning.

Give this subject a rest. And stop demeaning these young people, it's not a great system and life isn't always fair. But each of those young people who suited up for the game yesterday, was there for love of their of their schools and the game. Please take your comments to the controversial section and not the schools. I'm not just saying be nice things because l'm stupid about the game. My softball team was 1981 Class B Kentucky State Champions. My family considers me ultra competitive but don't lay this on these young people, decisions made long ago by adults. Quit railing on them, get something well organized and take it to the table of the KHSAA.

These four teams are playing this afternoon, I want these young men to play their best games and injury free. I've watched a lot of them grow up and am friends with a lot of the parents on all 4 teams. They are great young men and I hope we all try to remember that fact. It's not about seeding or drawing or money. It is about young people. Whatever method of bracketing is decided upon eventually it all comes down to a lot of talent and a little luck . How many remember that the ownership of Triple Crown winner, Secretariat was decided with the toss of a coin? Sometimes old ways aren't so bad. Good Luck Guys!

I would have to have that on contract, signed, witnessed and notarized. What a loss to these students. There are a lot of B.C.H.S. Alumni who won't like this. That saying posted above the door of the gym may need to be changed to, From how you played the game To if we play the game.

He's a healthy young man and he needs our prayers for his recovery. Good luck to this young man and his family and it's great that he's back home in Augusta. There will be no lack of help from his hometown. That tight knit community definitely supports it's own.

Always so sad to see a life taken so young. Prayers for family and friends.

A couple of years ago, there was a girl who transferred from Mason Co. to St. Patrick. Mason Co. would not release her and she sat for a year, I think. Or maybe never played at all. KHSAA would not allow her to play. So I don't know how these schools get away with it.

Does the KHSAA have to approve this transfer since he was a student enrolled and athlete previously?

Papaw is going to the barbershop, so he will know when he comes back. BGP post also said school suspension. Terrible, sad, unbelievable waste. I've known him since about nine, when he played with my grandsons.

These refs call a timeout and then no timeout then they make the injured player go to the bench for concussion evaluation? Mass confusion.

Neither have I but lawildcat says refs are always correct.

Campbell shot 1 Ft and Franklin shot 17 ? Good job Lawnboy13 That call on Clos at the end of the game was identical to the call in last year's 10th region final against Mason Co. Call had not been made the entire game. And they make it with 2.5 left in the game I think.

I agree, he's really leaving himself very vulnerable. As said above, it only takes one unhappy parent to create mass destruction for a really good group of young people. High five, fist bump or a pat on the shoulder.

Very poor organization to get the word out to area businesses. Would think they would welcome the opportunity to showcase the northern Kentucky area and all the interesting places and activities. Wonder why the local businesses did not do some type of showcase activities or competitions or contests at the site. 10th Region had a free throw contest at Montgomery Co. and gave a two year scholarship at Vocational and Technical School in Maysville. So many opportunities missed evidently. Had a Dr. appointment in nky, and saw no welcoming signs at any business. Very poor advertising. Apparently nky doesn't need the extra business???
