    I think a lot of people really believed the cupboard in Westwood to be pretty bare after last season because of the mistakes of the last administration. I hope this is the game that shows that not to be the case. I have all the confidence in the world in coach Ray. GO Eagles.

    Anybody here know the last time Haywood had a losing season? I can't remember one, seems pretty predictable to me.

    I really hope EKB continues to improve the product they put out, might force WYMT into doing more with their second channel THISTV, I am not sure if their agreement is still the same but while I was there they could cover up any of the THISTV programming they wanted. They actually only added the channel because CBS stopped letting them do the Game of the Week. I would like to see them do more local programming there.

    They do a much longer show on Saturday night, I used to work there and those guys from August until the basketball Sweet 16 is over are putting in 70+ hour work weeks and pretty much live at the station while football and basketball overlap. It really is a shame they can't have more time for their Friday night show because they certainly put the work in. I think they would be better off just not doing any News on Friday nights and giving the entire 35 minutes to Sports OT.

    Lot of love here for Fleming but I kind of equate them to Paris' team the last couple years. All is great until they play someone Good.You're nobody until you beat somebody. The talent drop off in 3A like most classes is huge and for me Fleming is still in the better than most but not really a threat for anything category.

    They do a great job at WYMT, it seems they really put a lot more focus on High school sports than any other news station. That's the way local stations should be.

    Hazard will have to score 60 to beat pikeville. I just don't see them slowing down the Pikeville offense. The difference between the top 3 maybe 4 teams and teams 5-10 in 1A is staggering.

    Lincoln over Harlan was pretty surprising to me. Also surprised the way Casey beat breathitt.

    YES. This is not the Pikeville offense that was almost entirely reliant on Pugh early in the season. Pikeville is at least a touchdown a game better than they were.

    You had me until the talk about hazad knocking off Pikeville or Paintsville. I haven't had a chance to see either Beechwood or Russellville but the east is a two horse race. Pikeville strolls into the paintsville game. The tigers have a tougher go about it but barring injury they match up with what I think is a much improved Pikeville team. Pikeville goes to BG

    We just finished setting up the hospitality of the folks here at the school has been great and this is one if the nicer set ups WYMT has been to this year, great press box. I've been trying to talk the crew into Mellow Mushroom all dat!

    I was wondering about this too... It's all kind of strange...I thought I had heard that they were even building a new field??? is this possibly a situation where they simply just ran out of money?? As far as playoff results I'm not sure it really changes anything other than which lamb gets offered up.
