BELFRY by a lot. Good Luck Devils!!!

Belfry has seemingly been on a war path since their near fall, by a nose hair win over Lawrence Co, in possibly the worst Pirate performance in the Haywood era. Turnovers can cause good teams to look bad and bad teams, if they can take advantage of those turnovers, look good. I think Russell will come out motivated and make a game of it for the first two quarters, but sadly, I think it wakes up a sleeping giant and Belfry goes off in the second half.

I hope that the Red Devils can pull this one out but I think that Belfry advances.

Belfry with a running clock. Russell is not the Russell of old or even the Russell of last year. They have some talented skill players but lack toughness up front. Belfry is dynamite up front.

49-7 Big Red. Too much athleticism for the Red Devils and too dominant on both sides up front.

I think we see Russell's D rise to the occasion and out in a solid week's worth of preparation.

 

I also think we see Belfry continue to ascend on Defense.

 

I don't think Belfry rolls Russell quiet to the extent that others do... I think the clock will move very quick and the Devils get a few stops. On that note though I see this being a win with little doubt

I think Belfry's big boys up front will be to much for Russell, I imagine Belfry will win this one by 3-4 td's. But I hope I'm wrong, I'll be pulling for Russell and all of the other Ashland area teams this week.
