I would be shocked if JH went 5-5 next season....but I will say the numbers are getting low and there is some attrition coming down the pipe. But JH is a military transit school for the most part....they will always get 10-15 transfers from out of the area every year. They are again loaded with skill athletes next season, line play and Witherspoon will determine they're success next season

That is very impressive company

Two things will dominate John Hardin conversation in the offseason... Offensive line play and the development of Anthony Witherspoon at QB. If Witherspoon doesn't (for whatever reason) play QB for John next year it's gonna spell trouble for the dogs.

I know the 6th is a good region; but I've long since thought that the over hype machine might be a bit much for all teams in the 6th not named Fern Creek. But in their defense it might be just because the state as a whole might be a little down this year. I don't know if we have many real good teams out there, so we gotta give someone the hype. Heck even FC took one on the chin against Hoptown.

You could say this about 5 or 6 teams in the rankings at this point. Apollo really hasn't beat a really good team either. I think Adair is a top 20 team simply based off the fact that there aren't 20 really good teams in the state. Dunbar hangs around the top 10 because of Hollingsworth but I don't know if they're that good this year.....and so on and so on. BUT time will surely tell, that's why you play the games

Absolutely the best environment I've been apart of. Hats off to both fanbases for their support of their teams. Great game with alot of twists and turns. JH couldn't close the deal at the end with some devastating turnovers and Jackson stepped up and made huge plays down the stretch. The crowd was going insane all night. Trace played ok I thought...I don't really like bashing the kids but he could have played better, and I think he would admit that. He finished with 12 pts. The kids from JH are devastated I'm sure, but they were able to play in a huge game in an incredible environment like that and they'll remember it for the rest of their lives.

I don't claim to know the young man personally...I've met him and talked to him on occasion and he seems to be a kid that really loves and wants to play basketball. Never anything disrespectful towards me. He is a phenomenal talent and appears to be helping North Hardin on the court.

We have got to get past this issue in the state. We are hindering our kids with this notion that tall belongs in the post. 6'5 and 6'6 is not tall. If you can shoot and handle the ball........well then play basketball

As always thanks for the insight Purple. Gonna be a huge match-up Friday with John Hardin and North Hardin. Bardstown is just Bardstown....Boo just always has those kids ready to play. And really happy for the kids at Fort Knox too.

Lol......Pearson still shoots the three and he is gonna have to continue to show he can shoot the three if he wants to play college basketball. He has a very good skill set that allows him to do a lot of things which includes shooting the 3. You can't take all these 6'5 and 6'6 kids who have skills and attempt to make them post players if they desire to play high level basketball in college. The team is doing better though, Witherspoon has accepted his role on the team which gives them some physical presence. Speaking on the Fort Knox issue....JH won the game by 20+...Coach McCurry was unhappy with their energy and rightfully so he sat their butts for almost a quarter....same issue against Breck County last week.

Can someone give some insight on PRP....Particularly Trey Hill. I haven't heard much about him so far....great talent just wondering why the team's not doing so well

Yeah Purple; it is good to see him coming along...so much potential in the kid. I think a lot of our football players are starting to hit their stride. And agreed the 5th is about as open as it's been in awhile.

Ryle has physical defenders in the post especially from what I saw earlier this year; so D.A. posting them up I don't think would have worked well for them. Kid will be ok, one bad scoring game, I'm sure he'll bounce back.
