Whether or not you were impressed doesn't take away from the fact that game is important to the kids from the two schools and they put alot of emotional energy into the game

The district will be a dogfight again... I agree. And I too didn't mean to take away from Hobbs' performance. Jacob is a good kid and he played a great game, as a sophomore to boot. Central is a scrappy team; and that's not meant to take away from their basketball abilities, because they can play. If you play them you better put them away when you have the chance. Time will tell; he's shot the ball well this season...kid had an off night. The shots he took are well within his wheel house...they didn't go in. He's been guarded by better defenders than Hobbs (not taking anything away from Hobbs; he had the game of his life) but I'm confident round two will be better for the Dogs. John Hardin's biggest issue is they don't know their roles on the team. Until the team buys in to their individual roles; it's gonna be a long season

Great win for the Bruins...honestly no one in the Bulldog camp saw this one coming. Gotta give all the credit to Central though; they fought hard. It's difficult to win in that gym...they have great support. I do think John is a better team than Central though...time will tell. Pearson didn't shoot the ball well. Sluggish win by the Bulldogs on this young season. Mickey Pearson's stat line reads like this: 30 points 10 rebounds 6 assists 3 steals and 3 block shots. Kid was everywhere last night. At 6'7 he is playing the 2 spot through the 5 spot. Very high ceiling for the kid. Guillory chipped in with 17 points and 6 assists as well.

No argument from me Purple...I haven't seen them this basketball season yet. I did see them this summer and have spoke with some people who saw them this season. They looked like an ok team. Time will tell. What can't be disputed is Andrew's ability. I'll keep saying it; if there is a list somewhere of top 2018 players that don't include him in the top 3....that list is flawed. One of two things. Either it's an upset or Lex is a bit overrated. Andrew is really good but Corbin is a decent team at best

Bdtown normally plays real hard nosed defense....at home the crowd can be intimidating...you won't get many calls in their building...think Louisville natl championship team
