As usual, like nails on a chalkboard...
A talented, hard working Notre Dame team of high school girls, lost to a talented, hardworking St Henry team of high school girls. Good luck to St Henry.
Your venom for the private high schools in Park Hills is more consistent than Cal Ripken.
No, not around in late 80's/early 90's. I'm guessing running clock is 10-15 years old now? Maybe 20? Definitely a good rule, except for the backups that could use precious reps.
Well said. As an example of different eras, as great as the '17 Colonel D is, they've already given up more regular season points (56) than the '87 D allowed in an 11 game regular season (51). With that said, two different styles, different schedules. Both outstanding defenses in their time. This team's D, while not without some needed improvement, has me really excited.
Probably not the entire list, but...

Great thread topic. I think the Cov Cath answer is Beechwood.
But, there was a time when those Boone Co openers were awfully fun and awfully meaningful. There may or may not have been a CCH coach (and Boone Co alum) who almost always quit smoking in the offseason, only to resume right before boarding Big Blue to head to Irv Goode Field to renew pleasantries with Coach Hauck.

Anyone can submit a nomination to the AD. The nominated candidates must be 10 years out of HS, at minimum. There is a committee of long time coaches, boosters, administrators that vote. Inductees are notified around Thanksgiving and banquet in January. Each inductee receives a plaque and a few minutes at the podium.
