Not a big deal. I don't blame the KHSAA for the bye and I don't blame BW for taking a stand. I personally kinda like the chippiness in a coach. As a general rule, opponents are a little too chummy these days. Nothin wrong with a little p & vinegar. Creating the axe to grind.

JOAT's synopsis - CCH is average, if you take away a handful of college level talent kids. Brilliant! In other words, every blind squirrel finds an acorn. I respect the HHS program. Fans (even if they were former players)? Not so much. Get over yourself - see you in two weeks, and no one will care about the past. No one that knows a darn thing about football is calling CCH a dynasty. We'll see. Please rest easy...your crown as greatest football program in the entire history of forever, is safe. It's gonna be OK.

Thanks for weighing in, as usual... Yes JOAT, JC has been spotted on campus multiple times. No one at CCH is playing into this dynasty garbage, so don't get it twisted. One game at a time, and if they happen to get lucky and pummel Highlands along the way...all the better. Enjoy the rest of Highlands season.

Dear AJ: Have a great rest of the season. Stay away from this silly game and get ready for hoops. These all star football games are useless.

I dislike HHS, but I have profound respect for the program. The CCH players would do well to do the same. I also worry about on field extracurriculars in an emotional game like this one for each program. Play hard to the whistle and move on to the next play. In the playoffs, silly penalties and/or ejections are mighty costly. But, we're talking hypotheticals - both have to advance.

Disagree on round 3 running clock. Expect a brawl.

Lot of football left to be played. Save the hyperbole. In the end, does it matter? The state rings from prior teams won't shine any less. The current crew has a lot of work to do.
