Conner took advantage of some not so solid play in the field by CC and it looked at times like Craddock was throwing 90 as the CC bats looked slow. My opinion, they went 1 too many innings before bringing in Casteel. Good luck to Conner.

Freedom Field has not been so friendly to the Colonels. Craddock pitched a good game, felt like he threw a lot of pitches, but have no idea on the number. CCH gave Conner a couple of the runs with some miscues. Conner was the better team and deserved to be the one moving on.

Agree on Casteel, should have most likely came on in the previous inning.

Conner did a nice job of attacking in "plus" situations. I was impressed by the agressive attitude.

 

They took the game to CCH and the Colonels flinched. Congrats to Conner.

Is there a better post-season team than Conner in the 9th? Lol. It seems almost every year they are in the regional tournament and win at least one, if not two games. I am kind of hoping to see Conner and Highlands in the final that could be fun

Conner came ready to play from the get-go. Cov Cath did not burst out of the gate in the same manner. Cov Cath did battle back to tie it in the fourth which does show some character in my opinion. If some bounces go the other way, cov Cath might have pulled it off. Both teams had great seasons and had really good chances, but with a one and out format, it is who plays better on a that night and Connor played better on Monday.

Nice job by CCH seniors on a great season. Represented well. Tough to see them as they came off field last night. It obviously meant a lot to them.
