  1. Driver opened the scoring with a short run off a direct snap. 7-0 Boyle Mid 1Q
  2. Toss sweep finds the endzone for LexCath. 7-0 Knights Mid 1Q
  3. Wofo has also gotten Omari Jointer back in the fold in recent weeks. He's a dual sport star and DI basketball prospect with a future in football if he chooses that route.
  4. Players of interest: Scott County Cardinals (5A #2) Charlie Ellison, QB | 35/62 (67%) for 608 yards with 11 TDs and 0 INTs | 6 rushing TDs | offers from Miami (OH) and EKU Timmy Emongo, RB | 73 carries for 1,142 yards and 22 TDs | 202 receiving yards and 3 TDs | committed to Ball State Skyler Way, RB | 74 carries for 781 yards and 3 TDs Asher Brewer, DB | 57 tackles | 2 INTs Parker Adkins, LB | 34 tackles | 7 TFL | 4 sacks Woodford County Yellow Jackets (5A #3) Foxx Coons, QB | 79/138 (57%) for 1,347 yards with 22 TDs and 4 INTs | Kael Rihtar, WR | 29 receptions for 491 yards and 11 TDs Justyn Perez, OL | 6'2"/300 lbs, committed to EKU Darrian Tomlin, LB | 6'3"/220 lbs, committed to UofL Josiah McKee, DL | 6'4"/245 lbs, committed to Oregon State
  5. It's going to be a special, if not bittersweet, night on Pond Creek. Coach Haywood and several of his former players are being inducted into Belfry's Hall of Fame.
  6. Woodford County Simon Kenton Kentucky Country Day Newport Central Catholic Kentucky Tiebreaker: 80
  7. The stars will align for Greenwood one day, but I don't think it's this Friday. BG should be able to run off a few wins in a row heading into the playoffs.
  8. Same. I've decided Wofo's defense is good enough to get a stop or two. Just enough to come out on top in an absolute ripper of a game.
  9. Classic EKY rivalry. This has been a season of rejuvenation for Paintsville, but I think they're about to get a dose of reality. The Tigers still have a ways to go and Pikeville is still the standard. Paintsville can be competitive, but I look for a comfortable win for the Panthers.
  10. They go back 100 years. First meeting was 1925. Pikeville leads 60-35-3 all-time, thanks to a 36-5 mark against the Tigers since the mid 80s.
  11. Position: DL Measurables: 6'4"/265 lbs Offers: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UK, and UofL, among others
  12. #2️⃣ in receptions #1️⃣ in yards #1️⃣ in touchdowns
  13. Try to get some sleep this week, Chief. Pick a young, hungry assistant and delegate the stress and sleepless nights to him. 😂
  14. Brown's pursuit of the record books has overshadowed Jackson Burke's excellence this year. He's on pace to shatter his own national record for single season completion percentage and he hasn't thrown an interception yet this year. Dating back to last season, Burke has thrown 80 touchdown passes since his last pick.
  15. I'm going with SL, but wouldn't be shocked at a Southwestern upset. They feel due. Plus, the Warriors usually tap into something extra at the Reservation.
  16. Kasen Brock (RB, Pulaski County) 🔗: Source 🗞 | The dark horse. He's not flashy, but there's a combination of toughness, ball skills, and versatility present that makes him unmissable. Plus, he plays for the top ranked team in 5A. The bedrock of Pulaski's success is Brock finding room behind one of the state's best and most physical offensive lines. The Maroons will ride that wave as far as it will carry them. If that means the sate finals, Brock will remain an intriguing figure in the hunt for Mr. Football. Season to date: 135 carries for 1,135 yards and 16 TDs | 255 receiving yards and 2 TDs | 1 kick return TD
  17. Dre'Mail Carothers (QB, Owensboro Catholic) 🔗: Source 🗞 | He's not being showered with attention to the same degree as Goodin (numbers) or Johnson (accolades/rings), but Carothers is the state's top quarterback prospect. A next level combination of arm talent and measuarables (6'4") committed to Louisville. He's lives in the best of all worlds: he passes the eye test, has an impressive statistical resumé, and has his team in championship contention. Season to date: 140/192 (73%) for 2,535 yards with 36 TDs and 4 INTs | 274 rushing yards and 5 TDs
