It's a shame this rivalry fell off like it did. Fairview has a long climb back to respectability. Easy first half running clock for the Rams tonight.- Frederick Douglass 21 Madison Central 14
I'm pretty hyped for this one. I picked the Indians, but they're the more unproven of the two. I want to see what MC looks like in a big game atmosphere with Douglass in town.- Manual 36 Saint Xavier 10

I have a feeling that Ashland is going to have an easier time pulling away tonight than they did against Greenup. As you said, Boyd has a lot of size, but I look for Ashland's superior quickness to consistently beat Boyd to the punch.- Woodford County 56 Collins 34
All eyes are on Goodin when Collins plays, but the Titans also boast the state leader in receiving yards (Jason Hence, 997 yards) and tackles (Evan Cosme, 108 tackles). Cosme had a career night last Friday against North Laurel, with 24 stops.- BGP Pick 5 Contest (Week 8)

He's a sure thing Mr. Football headliner next year. Though, I do think he'll be hard pressed to top his sophomore and junior seasons. He's setting the bar awfully high.- 2026 Mr. Football Watchlist (10/5)
I'm not the least bit creeped out by the hand on his right shoulder. đł- Christian Academy of Louisville 49 Central 7
Central is probably looking at three regular season wins. The talent has dipped and the schedule offers very few places to hide. Brown and Burke should have a field day.- Frederick Douglass 21 Madison Central 14
Same. He was a huge factor in last year's game. Without him, I think the Indians defend home turf.- Frederick Douglass 21 Madison Central 14
Madison Central home games are streamed on WBON TV's YouTube channel. A direct link won't be available until they go live Friday night, but here's a link to the channel itself. đ: https://youtube.com/@wbontv4353?si=Nl7XKuR3ZKpNjPqq- Woodford County 56 Collins 34
If we get the version of Wofo that blew GRC's doors off in the second half, the Jackets will handle Collins by 3-4 scores. If we get the version that struggled to put away Bourbon County in Week 2, Goodin and the Titans will run wild. It's hard to say which team will show up. I expect Goodin's mobility to cause Wofo problems, more so extending plays and drives when flushed from the pocket. I'm torn on this one.- Ashland 42 Boyd County 7
Believe it or not, Boyd County actually held the series lead 25 games in. The Lions clung to a narrow 13-12 advantage over the city school before the Tomcats took the rivalry by the throat and Boyd dropped off, sharply. Ashland has won the last 22 in a row and 34 of the last 37. Cannonsburg will celebrate late into the night when the Lions eventually snap the streak. I just don't see it happening this week. Ashland, big.- Pulaski County 66 South Laurel 31
đď¸ The John Hines Bowl, Vol. IV Pulaski County đ´ââ ď¸ (6-0, 5A #1) | The top ranked team in 5A, coming off an impressive road win over South Warren and a bye week. The engine of this team is an overpowering offensive front opening lanes for one of the top running backs in the state. South Laurel đ´âŤ (6-1) | There's been a sharp uptick in SL football since Hines came over from Pulaski in '24. The Cardinals have won more games in his 2 ½ seasons than the previous seven years combined. âď¸ đ | Pulaski County leads the all-time series 23-6, including 23 of the last 24 and the last fifteen in a row.
