Congratulations to Paintsville on your season. I'm in shock over how weel sk shot the ball. Paintsville handled sk press and scored off of it.

11 to 4. Lots of tickets tackle calls on sk. Refs keeping paint in the game. Paint is quicker than what they look on tape. They scouted sk well.

I can't help but think that depth perception for a shooter has to be an issue playing in an open arena. Two years ago, SK was able to practice at Thomas More, but now the NCAA has decided that it is inappropriate.

Forgot to add, SK depth advantage is magnified on the larger college court.

Lets not put the cart before the horse. One game at a time. Respect the current opponent and don't provide any bulletin board material!

Two years ago, they had the "Deer in the Headlights" look against Graves County. That experience, plus the chip they are carrying because of how last season ended I believe will carry them far.

If a student initiated a transfer because they because they liked the math program at another school, and that program would best help them succeed at the next level, would we fuss?

Would the other Grant players had developed had Martin and Harmeyer stayed? Those two probably would have taken 70% of the shots had they stayed. Also, how good would SK have been had Thomas and Baugh stayed? Up until this year, SK in big games, was too dependent upon Niece to score.

Not accepting an environment where support is limited.

1) They have a favorable draw. 2) They are playing essentially at home so they are better rested, and their fan base will turnout in volume. 3) This is the most talented roster in the history of the program (IMO).

The beauty of this draw, if you are an SK fan, is that Mercer, Butler and Sacred Heart are all on the opposite side of the draw. SK only has to beat one of those teams.

It seems as if ever the stars were ever aligned for SK to win a title, its this year. Having the tournament moved from Bowling Green to NKU saves a lot of wear on the body. Getting a very favorable draw, and having probably the best level of talent in the history of the program at the same time.

No disrespect to Holmes, but . I am rooting for Coach Lavendusky, her staff and kids. Cooper is of coarse, the new kids on the block, and its refreshing to see a program rise like Cooper's. If Cooper wins, then Coach Nichole would have regional titles with 2 different schools in the area which would be a unique accomplishment.
