  1. Oldham County. Just hope GC does not draw Trimble early.
  2. I would like to see the SK girls play more relaxed. They looked tight against Walton and missed a lot of open looks.
  3. Per the scoreboard. Anybody have any details? Thanks!
  4. You saw the one that did not connecr.
  5. Walton played relaxed while SK was tight. Being relaxed, Walton hit a high % of threes while SK missed quite a few open looks. Harmeyer and Harney did not look right to me. Congratulations to Walton on their season, and, especially to the seniors.
  6. We will look forward to your visit to Independence next year.
  7. This is relevant to many of the officiating conversations we have had in the past. "For the record, officials are rated only by coaches in their respective regions."
  8. If this is true, it explains a LOT!
  9. Better have the tape to back accusations like that!
  10. I wonder if the previous Coach tried to disqualify this girl, but administration resisted. Parents big donors? Officiating complicit?
  11. This made me laugh! SK, its bench called top NKY girls teams heading to tourney
  12. From a blind side punch????? Ok, your kid is on the ground being treated as a result of being the recipient of the second punch of the day from player allowed to continue in the game. How do you play it? Let the opponent throw another punch ending the season of your kids because the opponent realizes there are no consequences for their actions? The first punch drew a warning. The second a single technical. The officiating made it clear they were not going to deal with the situation. There is something bigger than life lessons here. SURVIVAL!
  13. You are more than welcome to let your daughter be the bigger, concussed, person.
  14. When your daughter takes a punch to the head, has the opposing bench laughing about it, and the officiating doesn't disqualify the transgressor, you are perfectly welcome to coach your daughter to "play through the contact".
  15. Meier gets called for ticky tack stuff while the opposition twice throws punches and is not disqualified. SK needs to be meaner. When the officials won't protect you, you have to hurt someone to make it clear that cheap shots have consequences.
  16. Evidently, Coach was upset that Bama dumped one of his kids. School was not concerned about the action, only the bad publicity. So what if Bama screwed one of their kids! Louisiana high school coach fired after comments about Alabama'''s '''unethical''' recruiting
  17. Fioptics sucks. TWC sucks. I know we have had these discussions before, but is there a new option in NKY? Thanks!
  18. It is also very unpredictable how high school players will respond to playing on a collegian sized court and arena. I thought SK had deer in headlights attitude two years ago.
  19. Twitter Anna Clephane ‏@AnnaClephane 4h4 hours ago More I'm so excited to announce I have decided to continue my education and basketball career at Ball State University! #chirpchirp Congratulations and well deserved!
