Is JCPS a closed or open district? Maybe some of these programs should be consolidated.

1st half looked like an extension of the Scott game. Girls came around and shot better in the second half and Shelby County was turned over several times by Simon's m2m press.

The bigger question is why was this scheduled? ( If this is a district game, I plead ignorance. ) This type of contest benefits no one. They would have been better off using the time for practice.

Just seems unusual and makes me wonder if there is something going on in JCSD.

Not exactly a gem by SK. Abysmal shooting, especially early. Too many turnovers in transition. They did score well in the post.

I don't envy you JJ, having to come up with rankings this week!

I have a different perspective. SK still has kids that underperform on the big stage. That is putting more pressure on Niece to score. SK also has kids whose roles and playing condition are in flux. Butler as well as Sacred Heart have experianced disciplined teams, accostomed to the big stage, whose kids have well defined roles. SK played both of those programs very competitively, and, has a lot more room for improvement than both.

Do you think they are over using Stamper on JV? I thought extra JV playing time might have contributed to her recent injury. She was sorely missed against Sacred Heart.

Walton played SK to ugher than Ryle, NDA and NCC.
