passtheball
Another coach Just gem of a game. Typical Butler stats for the game with balanced scoring.
kyhoopfever
In Lexington Butler looked like a well oiled machine. It seems everyone that plays knows exactly where everyone else on the court is. They are fun to watch. Is it possible Mercer is not as good as they think they are? They seem to feast on teams with sketchy ball handlers but when forced into a half court game and a good opponent they have a tough time generating offense

They seem to feast on teams with sketchy ball handlers but when forced into a half court game and a good opponent they have a tough time generating offense Simply a bad night for Mercer... Okay an AWFUL night. However, this same Mercer team just beat a #19 nationally ranked St. Francis (GA), #11 Argyle (TX) and had #10 St. John's (D.C) right where they wanted them before giving up a last-second shot.. These two teams featured a few of the best guards in the nation including Maya Dodson, Stanford commit and the #11 overall player and #2 wing in the class of 2017. Mercer is plenty good. They lose there first in-state game to girls basketball power house and #1 ranked Butler and suddenly they're not as good as they think. All great teams have bad nights.
