What time does everything start today?

Heard that sophomore to be and baseball/basketball stand out Isaac Kelly has now been out at practice for the Lions. They've been working him at QB, WR, and safety. He will play receiver this season for the Lions and likely take over under center after Parks graduates this year. Kelly is a very nice athlete that will help Lion football out a lot.

Heard that my Lewis lost in the semifinals today against Lawrence. The Lions battled back and had a better showing after losing the first two games to Greenup County and Wheelersburg. Was told they then beat Greenup 2, Johnson Central, and Fairview.

I'm hearing that Lewis County lost in the semi finals at Raceland to Ironton (OH). Good showing for my Lions. They are ahead of where I thought they'd be at this point.

Anybody go to the Raceland 7on7 that could give an update on that tournament?

I believe we will play Raceland in the EKC Grid-o-Rama this season.

How's the first few practices gone for the Lions? I've not been able to make it out to one yet.

The baseball program here at MSU is greatly improving each year. Mr. Raisor must be quite the young player. The Eagles are coming off of an OVC Championship this year and set a school record for wins this season as well.

Former Head Football and Baseball Coach at Sheldon Clark, Shawn Hager has accepted the head baseball coaching position at Prestonsburg High School.

That is DUMB.

What is Deuce Finch doing now? I might say that JJ Jude deserves to be on the first team due to numbers alone. The guy is the 8th all time leading rusher in the NATION.

Where did Manual use Burton in high school? He was a very good WR at UK.

Give me Channing Fugate at Fullback over Hatfield. No disrespect to Austin, but Fugate played FB at Tennessee and EKU and made the Baltimore Ravens practice squad this summer I believe. Until Hatfield has that kind of resume, I don't know how you can put him ahead of Fugate.

The #2 pick was supposed to be the key to the Cousins deal so I don't think they get Cousins. I do think they lure either LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre Jordan, or Kevin Love in though.

I expect the Thundering Herd to use Q early and often. They are getting a gem for a C*USA school.

Impressive

Just saw that Zack Klemme of the Ashland Daily independent tweeted it. Coach Martino led Russell to runner-up finishes in both the 63rd District tournament and the 16th Region tournament this year, losing both games to Greenup County. Coach Martino coached at Russell as either an assistant or head coach for 17 seasons.

Good work, ATLCat! You sure know how to build suspense too with the delays between posts I was on the edge of my seat to find out who was #1 . Well done.

Any Pendleton fans on here? I know nothing about their football program but I am interested since they are now in our district.

I thought the game was pretty fun to watch. Isaiah King of Fairview had a fantastic game for the East. Williams and Holman showed why they're playing college football at Morehead State, they were far and away the best players on their sides of the ball for the West.

He'll be a Wildcat.

I'll be SHOCKED if Baker plays.

Who all is in their new district? The move should help them, one would think.

I do not want to cause trouble but there are wrongdoers at every school. Even Raceland. I know of one Raceland parent that approached two football players that just graduated from Lewis County in the 6th and 7th grade and talked to them about if they would be interested in coming to Raceland to play. Of course that doesn't cast a shadow over the whole program and I believe that there were many more involved in the wrongdoings of Fairview but not one program is 100% innocent. The coaches at Raceland may be straight and narrow but most hay stacks have a needle somewhere.
