FS has a lot of holes to fill, but believe as you do @Big Jake they won’t be lacking in the coaching dept. I do wonder about all the talk about Hoptown too. I believe they lost a lot of their heavy hitters. WE also lost some big hitters. I think Madisonville will be a force this year. They got wasted at Franklin last year, but I think they return almost everyone.

Brady, Baker, Thomas and Harvey will be hard to replace, but don’t sell Preston short, the guy can flat out coach. FS- JC will meet again, I’m my opinion.

Logan Co. will be tough. I don’t think they can get past FS, but these guys will be legit. Go Cougars!

I watched several of FS games last year and they will have lost some really good players the last two years going into the 2018 season. After doing some research, FS loses 4 of their top 5 tacklers, all linebackers, cornerback, their top D lineman, a 4 year starter on defense and offense, a 3 year consecutive 1,000 plus rusher on offense and maybe their best blocker out of the backfield and a big O-lineman. Does FS have the replacements in the stable or will they have to play a lot of guys both ways? Will JC have to also play several both ways considering their losses on the D-line? If so, Fatigue will be a factor for both teams. You also run a greater risk of injury playing both ways. I thinking like @FSfan, I believe Hoptown will be a giant to overcome this year. The way I understand it Logan Co. brings back a lot from last years team too.

Will Franklin-Simpson rule again this year or will someone else step up and take the crown? Will the new alignment make that much difference? Tell us why you believe what you believe.

Wouldn’t think he would be interested, but would stop there too.

My first two stops would be Mayfield and Franklin Simpson. Anyway BG could lure the Morris family from Mayfield or Doug Preston from FS? Other thoughts would be Chris Seabolt, Chris Wolfe. All are proven winners.

How is he doing? Is he on schedule to return by the first of the year? I wish him well.

Don’t forget about another Wing that will block and QB that can pass just a little bit.

I don’t see anything wrong with a town with just a Piggly Wiggly, Doug Preston seems to be doing well in one. I think 88 is right. If I had the pick of jobs Greenwood would be on the bottom because there’s very little chance of a State title there as long as they are in the district with BG and now SW.

I’m not taking anything away from Logan, but their schedule was very favorable for their run. They have a lot coming back and will be good again, but don’t think they will go deep in the playoffs. @macdon I too think Brady will leave a huge hole for FS to fill. FS will also miss Cade Harvey. I think WE will be a tough out next year.

Do they have anyone in mind to fill the position? I hear Russellville is looking for a new coach too.

That’s a huge loss for Greenwood. He’s been good for that program. Jackson Adams didn’t hurt either.

I think FS proved you wrong in the 4A. FS had the best Oline and D line.

It's not much of a problem scoring that much with 3 1,000 yard rushers and a baker kid that would have had a 1,000 too if he had the carries. Lol... Congrats FS! I hate to see this class graduate. There are some special kids in that senior class.
