Hey Mac! I was hoping someone with knowledge of the program would post. I enjoyed following this team last year. With graduating a great class in 2017. Who does FS have to replace Robey, Kirby and company? Where will their consistency and leadership come from now that the 2017 class is gone?

They should be a good team. They have a lot to replace, but 1. They have size in the line. 2. They have talented skill guys. 3. Defense should be fast and really good. Looking forward to watching some good Southern Kentucky football again this year.

Franklin-Simpson game will be a battle. It's at FS too.

Why would it be a question of him coming back. He's just a Junior to be. Is he moving?

I am hearing rumors that Lacey for S. Warren is transferring to a private school in Tennessee. Is there any truth to that?

I thought that hiring a new coach would be a negative for the Hoptown program this year, but Hoptown hired a good coach in Clayton. It will still take the kids time to get the new system down, but they will win a lot this year.

Bowling Green! Well, they are BOWLING GREEN. They will win 5A again. Greenwood will be good this year. Adam's will go out strong but they will finish 2nd in BG. FS lost some good lineman and a great athlete in Josiah Robey, but could be better on the defense side of the ball with what they have coming back. FS will miss Hunter Janes more than anybody on the offensive side. If they can get someone to catch the ball like he did they will be better on the offensive side. They say that Brady is pushing 190lbs. now, If that is the case he will be a beast having size to go with his speed. I think FS will have a very successful season with it ending in BG again. Hopkinsville will be extremely talented, but getting a new coach and probably a whole new system will negatively affect their season. IMO. Great work 88, as usual.

I hear that these two conferences will play against each other in June. The player are 2017 graduates to my understanding. Does anyone have any information they can share? Rosters, Time and where the game will be played???

I agree it's hard to replace senior studs, but I have to tell you, I was able to get a look at the kids that will replenish the lines for FS and man they are big. If they have any strength to go with their size Brady and company will run for days.

Fanofyours says that FS will have plenty of fire power on both sides of the ball. Thinks the defense could be better than last year. That thought alone is scary, because they were good all year until the last game. If Chase doesn't have anything to throw it to, it will be difficult to stand in the pocket and look for something.

How much of ACS defense will be back next year?

Good point! From some of the other posts it sounds like FS should be strong again this year.

I'm not sure that ACS will have enough receivers to throw to this year as Purple 88 has already told us. FS and ACS will always be a good game. I do think ACS LB's will be solid this year.

How is the QB from ACS doing? Is he healing up and will he be ready to go in August?

Sounds like FS may be right back at their winning ways this year if Fanofyours is right and I hope you are correct, because a winning FS team will make everyone better.

The more I hear about ACS and WE, It doesn't sound like they will compete with FS for the district. I'm hearing that's ACS won't have the receivers to complete the passes to and that WE won't have the personnel to replace what they lost.

Needed to correct my last statement. Kadin Smith had less carries than Brady. @macdon How will the passing game look next year for FS? Losing number 30 and 4 has to hurt. Do they have receivers to fill these shoes?That passing wrinkle made a difference in 2016. Does anyone have updates on the ACS QB?

All three of those guys will have a great year. Brady had less carries than any of those mentioned in this thread. I liked the look of the back up quarterback too. He played with great poise in the second half against John Hardin.
